    Relationship between mangrove distribution and soil characters at Dongzhai Harbor and Qinglan Harbor, Hainan

    以海南东寨港和清澜港红树林为研究对象,在东寨港演丰镇、三江镇和清澜港文昌的海岸从水缘至陆缘设置样带,于每样带按一定间距设置调查位点,在每位点记录物种出现情况,并分析部分样带土壤的理化性质和生化性质。比较东寨港和清澜港土壤底质、潮位等因素对红树林分带的影响。 研究结果表明,所调查的红树植物物种从低潮滩至高潮滩分布的序列为:白骨壤一般为先锋植物,但由于适应生境能力强,在不同滩位和潮带均可见;正红树、红海榄、杯萼海桑、海桑为前沿向海带;秋茄、桐花树、木榄、海莲、角果木、瓶花木、榄李位于中间林带;木果楝、老属簕、卤蕨为后缘靠陆带。 对土壤物理性质研究表明,清澜港红树林样地土壤砂石含量高,土壤质地类...Zonational distribution of mangroves and its relationships with soil characters were studied at Dongzhai Harbor and Qinglan Harbor, Hainan.     应用分形理论分析了海南东寨港红树林土壤粒径分布的分形特征及其影响因素,海南东寨港土壤的分形维数为2.302~2.575,分形维数的大小与土壤中的粘粒、盐分、有机质、全氮含量呈显著正相关,外滩红树林土壤的分形维数低于中滩和内滩;随着土壤质地由砂壤土、轻壤土、中壤土、重壤土的变化,分形维数逐渐增大;从陆到海土壤分形维数逐渐减小。群落类型、土壤质地、滩位、含盐量、有机质、全氮含量等是影响海南东寨港红树林土壤分形维数的主要因子。The analysis with fractal theory on the fractal characteristics and related affecting factors of particle size distribution in mangrove soils in Dongzhai Harbor of Hainan showed that the fractal dimension of mangrove soils ranged from 2.302-2.575.There was a significant positive linear relationship between the fractal dimension and the contents of soil clay,salts,organic matter and total nitrogen.The fractal dimension was lower in outside beach than in middle and inner beach,and changed with soil texture,being in the order of sandy loam<light loam<medium loam<heavy loam.From land to sea,the fractal dimension decreased gradually.The main factors affecting the fractal dimension were community type,soil texture,beach position,soil salinity,and organic matter and total nitrogen contents.教育部新世纪优秀人才计划(NCET);; 国家自然科学基金资助项目(40476040

    采用模拟半日潮系统研究了水渍和底质条件对红树植物木榄(Bruguieragymnorrhiza)的影响。水位上升和淹水时间延长导致红树林底质的酸化,且壤质底质的酸化比沙质底质严重;对木榄的萌苗速度无显著影响;促进木榄的早期生长,尤其是导致最初2个月茎高生长的增加,但后2个月木榄的相对生长率受抑制;地下部/地上部生物量比值下降,沙质底质中尤为如此;粗根比例明显增加;叶绿素含量增加,叶绿素a/b比值无显著影响;叶面积减少;壤质底质上生长植株的叶片气孔密度增加,沙质底质无显著变化;根N含量无显著变化,P含量显著增加。Due to their special habitats in intertidal zones along tropical and subtropical coastlines, mangroves are influenced by the conditions of water depth, duration and sediment types.To investigate responses in early development of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza including propagule establishment and seedling growth to tidal and sedimentary conditions of simulated semi-diurnal tidal systems, a 4-month experiment was set up.Mature propagules of B.gymnorrhiza were planted respectively in pots containing silty and loamy-sandy soils collected from Mai Po and Sai Kung mangrove forests in Hong Kong.Four plastic tanks(85 cm in length, 64 cm in width and 50 cm in height) were used in this experiment mimicking 4 combinational conditions, i.e.high water level with coarse soil(HC), high water level with fine soil(HF), low water level with coarse soil(LC), and low water level with fine soil(LF).Artificial seawater in salinity of 15 was pumped into and out of the tanks in designed intervals to simulate daily semidiurnal tidal phases including two floods and two ebbs.Daily inundation time of high and low water treatments was 16 h and 4 h, respectively.Water level of HC and HF was 30 cm above soil surface, and 0 cm for LC and LF.Each treatment was triplicate. Under both high and low water levels, all propagules established and grew well in the experiment.As water level and inundation time increased, the acidity increased, which is higher in fine sediment than that in coarse ones.High acidity would not favor the plant growth.The establishment of B.gymnorrhiza propagules was not significantly influenced by the condition change.Early growth especially the stem height increments was stimulated by the increases in water level and inundation time in the first two months then relative growth rates slowed down in the second two months.In addition, as water level and inundation time increased, the ratio in biomass below-ground/above-ground significantly decreased, especially in coarse sediment and the percentages of coarse roots, P contents in roots and chlorophyll contents in leaves tended to increase.Other physiological parameters such as carotene and stoma density were also analyzed, along with detail discussions on the relationship of water depth, inundation length and sediment type to the plant development.国家自然科学基金资助项目,40276036和40476040号;; 福建省自然科学基金项目,D0410006号;; 香港环境保护基金资助项目,9210007

    Effect of Kandelia candel mangrove restoration on sediment phosphorus in Jiulongjiang estuary

    以光滩为对照,分别在白礁选取5、6、8a生秋茄(Kandelia candel)人工林以及天然秋茄林为样地,在草埔头选取20a生和44a生秋茄人工林为样地,比较分析了福建九龙江口秋茄红树林恢复对底质总磷和有效磷的影响.结果表明:白礁和草埔头秋茄人工红树林的总磷和有效磷含量随红树林恢复时间的增加而增高.白礁天然秋茄林和草埔头秋茄人工林的总磷随底质深度增加而减少,有效磷在中下层含量较高.潮位对草埔头总磷有显著影响,由外滩到内滩,其总磷含量逐渐增加.九龙江口秋茄红树林早期恢复阶段的底质总磷和有效磷缺乏,5a生秋茄人工林底质总磷和有效磷分别为0.68g/kg和2.99mg/kg.Effects of the restoration of Kandelia candel mangroves on soil total phosphorus and available phosphorus were investigated in Jiulongjiang estuary.At Baijiao,one five-year old replanted forest,one six-year old replanted forest,one eight-year old replanted forest,one nature mature forest and one plot of barren beach were selected.Meanwhile,one twenty-year old replanted forest,one forty-four-year old replanted forest and one barren beach plot at Caoputou were selected.Results indicated that the total and available phosphorus increased with restoration time at Baijiao and Caoputou.Total phosphorus decreased with sediment depth,while available phosphorus was usually high in mid and lower layers at Baijiao and Caoputou.Tide level had remarkable effects on the distribution of total phosphorus resulting in lower phosphorus content in the outer flat than in the inner.In Jiulongjiang estuary,the sediments in replanted K.candel mangroves were both short of total and available phosphorus,especially during the early phases of mangrove development,which were 0.68g/kg and 2.99mg/kg respectively in five-year old replanted forest.国家自然科学基金资助项目(40476040);; 福建省自然科学基金资助项目(D0410006
