Habitat distribution of shellfishes were investigated about Semisulcospira libertina(S.L), Cinotania Mstrica(CH) and Corbicula leana(CL) in the two agricultural canals which are neighboring and have same source of stream. As a result of detailed environmental researches, it was found that the habitat distributions of these shellfishes were different considerably between these two canals. We predicted that speed of stream was main factor of this difference. This prediction was supported by a series of experiments by using an experiment waterway of our college. S.L. can inhabit the wide area of agricultural canal because they do not need substratum such as sand and silt, but they can not stay at more than 50cm/s of flow. It was found that C.H. and C.L. need the substratum for their habitation, a 40cm/s of flow becomes the limit for them because substratum begin to drift from this condition. A series of results obtained in the experiments of waterway accorded with the results of field investigations

In rural areas, many villages are suffering from underpopulation, aging population. And some villagesare disappeared. Misaki-village in Kami-town, Tajima, a small and inconvenient historical village, has balanced multiple generations and attractive village environment, and good community relationship. We think this is a model of sustainable community. And we searched conditions that make this village sustainable

In this paper, the image of visitors to Himeji City is analyzed based on the attitude survey. As Himeji City is very popular for its world heritage Himeji Castle, many people including foreigners visit this city. But most of them come to see only Himeji Castle, and they do not stay in the city. Then, the central commercial area of the city is lacking life. What is the problem and what is lacking on the town planning? To answer this question, the attitude survey for visitors to the city is analyzed statistically. In conclusion, it is made clear that visitors want convenient and functional urban facilities, such as shopping mall, cafe and bikeway, in addition to the historical landscape around Himeji castle

An ad hoc network is a network made of a collection of mobile nodes that gather spontaneously and communicate without requiring a pre-existing infrastructure. Of course an ad hoc network uses a wireless communication medium. It can be applied in military, rescue and emergency operations, and high speed access to internet. It was recently shown that stochastic geometry can be used for the modeling and performance evaluation and the cost analysis of several classes of communication networks. The general idea consists in representing all objects of a large network as realizations of point or random set processes; e.g. mobiles or base stations as point processes, local areas as random cells etc. This paper introduces stochastic geometry models for an ad hoc network. We first summarize the basic theory in stochastic geometry for the modeling of communication networks. We mainly provide an application of stochastic geometry to medium access, routing and power efficiency in an ad hoc network
