    Features and challenges of the modern labor market

    In recent decades, there has been a dynamic transformation of the socio-economic eco-system, in general and its components in particular. Cardinal changes in the values and motives of economic decisions, the compression of the time continuum of the life cycle of products and enterprises are reflected in the financial and resource market derived from the commodity market. The employer-employee relationship is changing, there are more disagreements, since the requirements of the organization and the expectations of the applicant often differ significantly. Modern employers do not have enough professional competencies of employees, it is important to combine a range of knowledge, skills and personal qualities. The author of this article presents the features of the modern labor market, the results of employers’ research on the demand for specialists. The work methodology is based on scientific research methods of cognition, such as statistical and comparative analyzes, questionnaires and the method of expert assessments, a systematic approach. The study reveals the indispensability of such employees’ qualities as scale and critical thinking, a high level of stress tolerance, the ability to combine the roles of a leader and a team member depending on the task, skills for evaluating large information arrays and digital competencies. The conclusion is formulated about the need for applicants to strengthen not only hard skills, but also to constantly develop soft skills to compete against the challenges of the labor market

    The period of the change of the era of postmodernism to metamodernism (metamodern) has been considered. The features of metamodernism, as the ambiguous orientation of philosophical and worldview concepts and its impact on the economic space of different levels of the hierarchy have been revealed. It has been emphasized, that the consequences of the metamodern era especially sharply reflected in the Russian economy of the 1990s, since the systemic ties that developed during the modern and postmodern periods were destroyed due to political transformations and the import of liberal institutions into the country’s economy.     Personal or group motivation: which tool is more efficient

    In the context of the economic landscape dynamic transformations, the values and behavioral characteristics of an economic agent undergo changes. The head of the organization faces new challenges: how to manage the behavior of the consumers and employees in modern reality, what methods of motivation to use to maximize the economic efficiency of the enterprise. The individualistic concept, based on the neoclassical economic paradigm with the assumptions of complete rationality of agents, does not always give the desired results and needs to be revised taking into account the cross-cultural characteristics of the country. The purpose of the work is to identify the key motivating factors of the individual, to determine the personal and collective prerequisites in the behavior of a group member using the example of a group of students. The article presents empirical work carried out by the comparative, observational and psychometric research methods, using synthesis and a systematic approach. The author reveals the characteristics of the personalities of the collective subgroups on a psycho-emotional basis using the R. Cattell method, the specifics of group segments and reveals social motivation in achieving a common group goal

    Сoordination of supply and demand alternative energy in Russia industrial with organizational solution

    One of the key factors affecting the competitiveness of an enterprise is low energy costs. Despite the status of Russia as an energy superpower, Russian companies are paying a high price for electricity. It has increased the past 10 years more than 3 times. In addition the traditional energy sources, there are renewable energy sources, which include solar, geothermal, bioenergy, and others. They are close in certain cases and are able to give energy. In developed countries, the production and consumption of energy from renewable sources for industry is growing every year. In Russia it is used hardly, but the potential of renewable energy is huge. This is due to the peculiarities of the country – there are a lot of hydrocarbons in Russia, and industry has focus on hydrocarbon energy sources. At the same time, in our country there are the situations where renewables can be an essential complement centralized system of electrification. But in Russia there is no mechanism of regulation of the supply / demand of alternative energy. There are not institutional conditions for state regulation of renewable energy production, there is not renewables market. The paper proposes an organizational solution that solves the problem of the coordination of the supply / demand in the Russian context

    Changes in the human resources market as a key factor of political decisions

    The human resources market is a derivative of the key market for goods and services, the growth of which ensures economic growth in the country. However, it is efficient human resources that enable rational use of natural potential, ensure capital reproduction and new technologies creation. Changes in the labor market can fundamentally transform socio-economic ecosystem and affect the level of political stability in the country. For example, in the 2010s, imbalance in the United Kingdom human resources market provoked political instability that forced the government to withdraw from the European Union. The purpose of the research is to identify impact of the labor market on political decisions on the example of the United Kingdom, to determine causes of disequilibrium in the human resources market, to highlight stages of the European Union and stages of Great Britain’s exit from it, and to present the results of Brexit at the level of the economy and the labor market. The article relies on historical-logical and comparative methods of research, comparison of macroeconomic indicators dynamics on the basis of a systematic approach. Statistical data of the World Bank and the Office for National Statistics allow us to confirm mutual influence of the labor market and the policy of the country’s government
