Structure of price elements for construction works on water engineering systems
Izgradnja hidrotehničkih sustava traje nekoliko godina. U tom razdoblju dolazi do promjene cijena pojedinih elemenata što rezultira izračunom razlike u cijeni. U ovom radu, odabranom strukturom elemenata, prikazan je model za izračun razlike u cijenama građevinskih radova na hidrotehničkim sustavima. Općeniti je zaključak da strukturu elemenata cijena treba dati izvođač u svojoj ponudi na temelju definirane organizacije i tehnologije izgradnje građevine i definirane financijske dinamike, a da investitor treba uzeti to u obzir pri odabiru najpovoljnijega ponuditelja.The construction of water engineering systems extends over several years. Prices of individual elements change over that period, which results in the calculation of price difference. The model for calculating difference in price of construction works on water engineering systems is presented in this paper through a selected structure of elements. The general conclusion is that the price element structure must be provided by contractors in their offers, based on the defined construction work organisation and technology and financial scheduling, while the Investor should take this into account when selecting the most favourable bidder
Time and cost interdependence in water supply system construction projects
Time and price of contracted construction as well as their overrun are among highly pronounced issues in the construction practice. Numerous studies indicate that there is a dependency between these parameters at various construction markets. The paper shows the results of a research conducted on a group of 40 projects related to water supply systems carried out in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2001 to 2012. Collected data, obtained through interviewing chief engineers of construction companies, have been used as input parameters for implementation of single linear regression by applying the BTC (Bromilow time-cost) algorithm. The final result is a model in the form of an exponential equation. Whereas it was obtained based on effectuated values, it can be considered appropriate for assessing and testing the construction time in the early planning stage, as well as at work contracting. Since the parameter values in the model depend on circumstances of the specific area under consideration, the application of the model is recommended primarily in the area where the research was conducted. Results of the price overrun and construction overrun interdependence have not resulted in determining the exponential model. The paper also proposes application recommendations and guidelines for further research.

Řízení lidských zdrojů a kvality dodávky materiálu ve stavebních projektech
Construction projects participants were surveyed to assess how coordination and communication among stakeholders and quality control in building materials supply process were managed, as well as to evaluate their satisfaction with the structures quality. It was found that the participants’ role and working experience had a statistically significant interaction effect on satisfaction with the structures quality, but their effect on perceived coordination and communication among stakeholders and materials’ quality control wasn’t statistically significant. The results were discussed in light of their importance for effective construction project management from the aspect of human resources, building materials quality and satisfaction with the quality of structures.Účastníci stavebních projektů byli dotazováni, jak hodnotí koordinaci a komunikaci mezi účastníky projektu a kontrolu kvality v procesu dodávky stavebního materiálu a zároveň jak hodnotí svou spokojenost s kvalitou staveb. Bylo zjištěno, že role účastníka projektu a jeho pracovní zkušenosti mají významný vliv na spokojenost s kvalitou staveb, avšak efekt vnímané koordinace a komunikace mezi účastníky projektu není statisticky signifikantní. Výsledky byly diskutovány ve světle jejich významu pro efektivní řízení stavebních projektů s ohledem na aspekt lidských zdrojů, kvalitu stavebních materiálů a spokojenost s kvalitou staveb

This paper investigates how construction projects participants’ evaluations of two aspects of material supply management, i.e. communication and coordination among involved parties and materials quality control, are related to satisfaction with the quality of structures. On a sample of 128 respondents in the Republic of Macedonia a questionnaire was administered to assess study variables. It was found that satisfaction with the quality of structures was relatively low. Respondents assessed materials supply management, i.e. coordination and communication among involved parties, and materials quality control as average. Pearson correlation analysis showed that these two variables as aspects of materials supply management were positively related to satisfaction with the structures quality.Článek zkoumá jak hodnocení dvou aspektů řízení dodávky materiálu (komunikace a spolupráce mezi stranami, kontrola kvality materiálu) z pohledu účastníků stavebního projektu souvisí se spokojeností s kvalitou dodávky. Dotazník zkoumá vybrané proměnné na vzorku 128 respondentů z Makedonie. Bylo zjištěno, že spokojenost s kvalitou staveb je relativně nízká.
