Recognition of Handwritten Mathematical Expressions by Neural Network

Tato práce se zabývá rozpoznáváním ručně psaných matematických výrazů pomocí neuronové sítě.  V teoretické části jsou rozebrány neuronové sítě, matematická syntaxe, problematika rozpoznávání ručně psaných matematických výrazů a existující systémy na rozpoznávání matematických výrazů. Praktická část obsahuje vlastní návrh rozpoznávacího systému. Každá část (krok) systému je podrobně rozebrána. Další část práce obsahuje testy provedené na implementovaném rozpoznávacím systému. Výsledky testů jsou rozebrány a zhodnoceny.This thesis deals with recognition of handwritten mathematical expressions by neural network. Neural network, mathematical syntax, issues of handwritten mathematical expressions and existing mathematical expressions recoginition systems are described in theoretical part. Practical part includes my own proposal  of recognition system. Each part (step) of the system is analyzed in detail. Next part of thesis contains tests performed by implemented recognition system. The results are discussed and reviewed.

Inference in Bayesian Networks

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá demonstrací různých přístupů k inferencím v Bayesovských sítích. V teoretické části jsou rozebrány základy pravděpodobnosti, základy teorie Bayesovkých sítí, inferenční metody a oblasti aplikací Bayesovských sítí. Inferenční metody jsou krátce představeny a doplněny jejich algoritmem. Princip každé metody je uveden na příkladu. Praktická část obsahuje popis implementace, experimenty s demonstračními aplikacemi a shrnutí dosažených výsledků.This master's thesis deals with demonstration of various approaches to probabilistic inference in Bayesian networks. Basics of probability theory, introduction to Bayesian networks, methods for Bayesian inference and applications of Bayesian networks are described in theoretical part. Inference techniques are explained and complemented by their algorithm. Techniques are also illustrated on example. Practical part contains implementation description, experiments with demonstration applications and conclusion of the results.

Motivation as a tool of performance management

The subject of this thesis Motivation as a performance management tool analyzing possible motivation forms and methods, along with the evaluation and development of pracovníků.Teoretická part specifies the various concepts associated with motivation and factors that affect it and poporují development workers.
