Title: Basketball conditioning training workout Objectives: The aim of this thesis is based on a survey to determine importance of fitness training in basketball, whether basketball players are using service of a conditioning coach or not, frequency, focus on fitness, equipment, additional sports etc. Methods: Data needed to process this thesis came out of a non-standardized anonymous questionnaire, which was created for professional basketball players and players of different performance levels. The reason is a opinion comparison of players of different skill levels. After obtaining the necessary data I evaluate the general characteristics and selected indicators. Results: The results of the thesis is confirmed by the survey (n = 55 male respondents). Fitness trainer representation is at more than 80% responces. Title: Injuries In Basketball And Their Potential Prevention Objectives: The objective of my work was to define injuries which occur in basketball and to suggest prevention that can eliminate the birth of injury or speed up the convalescence. Methods: Research and comparison from foreign and Czech literature. I excerpted from literature and suggested potential prevention. Results: I ascertained that the most common injury is injury of lower limb, especially the injury of hock joint. The second mostly affected areas are knee ligaments. Most usual kind of injury is distortions (sprain) which is caused by direct contact with other player during the match. The cause of the distortions are frequent changes of direction, landing on the court or trodding on opponent's foot. Keywords: Basketball, injuries, prevention, regeneratio

Na začátku výzkumu tvořil soubor 15 mužů a 15 žen. Výzkum dokončilo 11 mužů a 11 žen. Probandi navštěvovali skupinové lekce vedené metodou HIIT ve fitness centru Balance Club Brumlovka. Vstupní a výstupní data (tělesnou výšku, tělesnou hmotnost a parametry tělesného složení) byly měřeny pomocí digitálního výškoměru a InBody 770. Výsledné hodnoty byly zhodnoceny pomocí párového t-testu (statistická významnost) a Cohenovo - d (věcná významnost). Výsledky: Výsledkem diplomové práce je, že během specifického tříměsíčního cvičebního programu došlo ke změnám antropometrických parametrů (tělesná hmotnost) i parametrů tělesného složení. Největší změny jak u mužů, tak i u žen byly v průměrném snížení celkové tělesné hmotnosti (kg), snížení % tělesného tuku a nárůstu % celkové tělesné vody a tukuprosté hmoty (kg). Objective: The main objective of the study was to analyze changes of body composition in men and women, who completed a three-month exercise program. Methods: The work has the character of an empirical research, where the main method is observation. At the beginning of the research, the group consisted of 15 men and 15 women. The research was completed by 11 men and 11 women. The observed group were attending lessons based on HIIT method in fitness center Balance Club Brumlovka. For the input and output data (body height, body weight and parametres of body composition) were used a digital altimeter and bioelectrical impedance InBody 770. The resulting values were assessed using a paired t-test (statistical significance) and Cohen-d (substantive significance). Results: The result of the study is that during the specific three-month exercise program occured differences in anthropometric parameters (body weight) and parameters of body composition. The most significant differences in both men and women were the decrease of average weight (kg), the decrease of total body fat (%) and the increase of total body water (%) and fat free mass (kg). Title: The most common injuries in basketball Objectives The purpose of this thesis is to find out, by survey, which injuries are the most common among basketball players across various skill levels and age categories. At the same time, the purpose is to also find out the causes of these injuries, and whether or not rehabilitation was used during recovery. Methods: I gathered all the data necessary for this thesis via an unstandardized annonymous survey, which I administered to a study group. I analyzed the data that I collected through graphs and tables, and then I prepared the final analysis based on the results of the survey. Results: The conclusion of this thesis is based on the results of the survey. Based on the responses of the survey, I have come to the conclusion that the most common injuries occur in the lower limbs, especially in the knee and ankle joints, and specifically sprains. The cause of these injuries is the dynamic and aggresive movement of the game. Once fatique sets in, players overestimate their abilities, their coordination worsens, and they are at greater risk of these injuries. Title: Coaching of Fitness Basketball Training in Adults Basketball Objectives: The aim of this work was to deal with literary research and to create a training guide to men's fitness training for basketball coaches. In this research I have worked with up-to-now experience which I have extended by translation of foreign literature and basic human physiology. Methods: Research and comparison from foreign and Czech literature which is is concerned with sports training in basketball. Results: The thesis is conceived as a comprehensive concept of a fitness training for adult basketball players. Because this study is supplemented by an knowledge from foreign sources and basic basketball preconditions, it may be used as a fitness training giude or an information source for basketball couches and trainers. Health aspects are introduced as a part of the study too. The fitness training, in a basketball environment, is characterised by a connection of a perfect technical performance and a high level of a speed and power requirements. It is very important to apply all exercises in an areal and temporal distress. Therefore, a basketball game has very high demands on a motor coordination, dexterity and a performance speed.
