    Effect of the 2018 European drought on methane and carbon dioxide exchange of northern mire ecosystems

    We analysed the effect of the 2018 European drought on greenhouse gas (GHG) exchange of five North European mire ecosystems. The low precipitation and high summer temperatures in Fennoscandia led to a lowered water table in the majority of these mires. This lowered both carbon dioxide (CO2) uptake and methane (CH4) emission during 2018, turning three out of the five mires from CO(2)sinks to sources. The calculated radiative forcing showed that the drought-induced changes in GHG fluxes first resulted in a cooling effect lasting 15-50 years, due to the lowered CH(4)emission, which was followed by warming due to the lower CO(2)uptake.     W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań wpływu oddziaływań mechanicznych elektrod szczotkowych na efekty technologiczne obróbki elektroerozyjno-mechanicznej. Scharakteryzowano oddziaływania fizyczne występujące w procesie wpływające na wydajność obróbki oraz konstytuowanie właściwości warstwy wierzchniej. Przedstawiono wyniki badań eksperymentalnych wpływu energii pojedynczych wyładowań elektrycznych na objętość wyerodowanego metalu oraz charakterystyki mechaniczne elektrody szczotkowej. Wskazano na możliwość zwiększenia wydajności obróbki w wyniku występowania efektu synergii kilku rodzajów oddziaływań fizycznych występujących w procesie.The article presents the results of the influence of mechanical effects of electrodes brush technology electroerosion-mechanical processing. Characterized the impact of mechanical conditions in the process of influencing the efficiency of processing and properties of the surface layer constitution. The results of experimental studies of single impact energy of electric discharges on the volume of eroded metal and mechanical characteristics of the brush electrode. Pointed the potential for increased efficiency and productivity as a result of the occurrence of several types of synergies physical interactions occurring in the process
