Decentralized Agent-based Electronic Marketplace Supply Chain Ecosystem
Electronic marketplaces have become an essential part of the business to business e-commerce. Supply chain concept is fully taking advantage of using the network effects in electronic marketplaces due to augmented added value from each participant. However, highly desirable network effects lead to one company monopoly over the whole marketplace. To prevent this effect, authors are proposing and devising a decentralized agent-based electronic marketplace for supply chain ecosystem. The goal of our research is to improve overall supply chain service quality by allowing companiesā agents to evaluate the service quality of their partners through the history of their transactions. Consequently, since in their procurement activities more informed decisions are being made instantaneously, continuously and autonomously at each node of a supply chain, supply chain service quality is being improved along the whole supply chain
Globalizacija u industriji pomorskog prijevoza
Globalization is a new trend in world economy, fully influencing maritime transport industry. Maritime trade is one of the key driver of globalization, furthermore picture of vessel in open ocean is ultimate globalization emblem. In this paper authors review trends in maritime transport industry induced by globalization.
ANALIZA STRUKTURE MREŽE LANACA DOPREME TERETA U LUKE MEDITERANA
With the recent advent of computer-based communication technologies, transportation networks have become an important factor in the global interaction, as a real part of a virtual business. The world in the transportation and supply chain view may be described as being connected by a lattice of networks. As liner routes create a network, the authors are using the network analysis starting with the data that describ the set of relationships among the ports ā members of a system. The goal of analysis is to obtain, from the low-level relational data, a higher-level description of the structure of the system. The higher-level description identifies various kinds of patterns in the set of relationships. These patterns will be based on the way individual organizations are related to other ports in the network. The primary goal of this research is to identify the most important actor(s) in the network, and a couple of measures, designed to highlight the differences between
important and marginal ports acting in liner network , are presented too. The definitions of importance and prominence are given along with the mathematical concepts generated by various definitions.
Modeling of economically sustainable information security management systems in seaport clusters
The paper researches the usage of ARIS Express process modeling tool in creation of economically sustainable information security management system in seaport clusters. Basic concepts of information security in seaport cluster stakeholderās organizations are detailed, and relations and interactions between organizations and their environment are researched. Portfolio approach to information security is being endorsed along with quantification of total levels of the risk and the resulting cost of information security. The authors identify two basic process paths of information security in seaport clusters: basic activities and supporting activities. Furthermore, main components of both are being researched in detail, along with their interactions that create a robust system of information security management in seaport clusters. Process flow of all activities is constructed by using business process model implementation of ARIS Express software
LOGISTIC COORDINATOR AS INEVITABLE PART OF SUPPLY CHAIN PROCESSES
Potpuni nadzor i pregled procesa dobavnog lanca omoguÄava logistiÄkom koordinatoru i logistiÄkom timu osiguravanje razine uspjeÅ”nosti sustava dobavnog lanca. LogistiÄki koordinator je srediÅ”nji Äimbenik informacijskog toka logistike isporuka te predstavlja osnovni nezaobilazni element procesa dobavnog lanca. Glavna namjera autora ovog istraživanja je sustavan prikaz važnosti uloge logistiÄkog koordinatora unutar sustava dobavnog lanca.xThe paper elaborates the importance of human resources within the supply chain system and refers to logistic coordinators and logistic teams. The study has been basically aimed at the analysis of the information flow of deliveries to distribution centers within the cement industry. Respecting a complete overview of supply chain processes enables the logistic coordinator and logistic team to ensure the efficiency of the supply chain system. A logistic coordinator is the core figure of the information flow in delivery logistics thus representing the inevitable and essential part of supply chain processes. The principal aim of the authors of this paper is to systematically elaborate the role and importance of a logistic coordinator within the supply chain system
Green logistics ā measures for reducing CO2
Paper presents measures for reducing CO2 in logistic operations, especially transportation. Fundamental measures (transport fuels, improving vehicle efficiency, vehicle technology, transport efficiency, traffic infrastructure management, integration of transport systems, safety and security, economic aspects of change, broader environmental impacts, equity and accessibility, information and awareness, infrastructure, pricing and taxation and regulation) have been recognized, and discussed. Data obtained using questionnaires on substantial number of experts has been used and statistically processed. Using data mining techniques, authors have isolated information from a data set and converted it into a comprehensible structure for additional utilisation. Correlation analysis, multilevel hierarchy and principal factor analysis have been used. Finally, Bayesian classifier method is used to define Bayesian network in order to show interconnections between chosen factors
