Dobszárítók hőtechnikai méretezése
Szemcsés és pasztaszerű anyagok nedvességtartalmának
csökkentésére gyakran alkalmaznak olyan dobszárítókat, ahol a
hőközlést konvektív levegőáramláson kívül köpenyoldali kontakt
hőközlés is segítheti. A szárító méreteinek meghatározása olyan
Examination of Infrared Tomato Drying
Tomato is a highly perishable food, thus preservation is required to meet the continuous market demand compared to the unbalanced yearly production peak. The aim of this paper is to show a detailed insight into infraradiation based drying process. Furthermore, to widen the possible usage range of a well-known approximation method for describing the temporal moisture variation in function of process parameters. The mass decrease of tomato slices was examined, in function of specific radiation power, heat source and sample distance, in forced and natural airflow. Based on the results dimensionless moisture ratio change over time was fitted as an exponential function, which may be used in industrial drying process optimization
EFFICIENCY OF SEPARATION OF LOW CONCENTRATION GASEOUS COMPONENTS BY COUNTER FLOW WASHING
From the point of view of environmental protection, it is important to lower the sulphur
dioxide emission of electric power plants and other industrial establishments. In our study,
we have examined the factors affecting the efficiency of separating a given 'A' component
from the gas phase, in the case of physical and chemical absorption techniques. We
compared our conclusions with data obtained on a semi- industrial scale
THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION IN RELATIONSHIP OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAS-TO-GAS HEAT PIPE EXCHANGER FAMILY
The Chemical and Food Engineering Department of the Technical University of Budapest
has developed a gas-to-gas heat exchanger family with closed two-phase-thermosyphons
(CTT) or heat pipes.
This paper reports the theoretical fundamentals and the experimental investigations
of the CTT heat exchanger family
INVESTIGATION OF HEAT TRANSFER CONDITIONS IN SCRAPED SURFACE HEAT EXCHANGER
Scraped surface heat exchangers are widely used in the food industry and in the developing
aseptic technology to guarantee products of high quality. In the literature review the
flow and heat transfer conditions of these heat exchangers are analysed. An experimental
station supplied with data acquisition system has been built, which makes possible to vary
testing parameters. Heat transfer equations required for dimensioning scraped surface heat
exchangers were determined at different operational parameters
Fázisok közötti anyagtranszport hatékonyságának növelése fokozatszerű fázisérintkeztetés esetén, mozgó töltet alkalmazásával. = Increase of the mass transfer rate across a phase boundary in plate columns with moving bed elements
A fluid diszperz kolonnák (FDC) méretezéséhez szükséges a hidrodinamikai és anyagátadási tulajdonságok pontosabb megismerése. A kísérletek célja az FDC-ban a fázisok közötti anyagtranszport hatékonyságának a növelése. A különféle technológiai gázok, por mellett egyéb környezetvédelmi vagy műveleti szempontból káros komponenseket (pl. NH3, SO2, NOx) is tartalmazhatnak. A folytonos gáz-folyadék fázis érintkeztető berendezések különféle kialakításúak. Hagyományos, fokozatos érintkeztetést megvalósító különböző tányér szerkezetű oszlopok, rendezett és rendezetlen töltetű kolonnák. A töltelékes tornyok lehetnek statikus és dinamikus működésűek. A kísérleti FDC-t különböző műveleti paraméterek mellett üzemeltettük. A hidrodinamikai és anyagátadási mérések eredményeit összehasonlító diagramokban dolgoztuk fel. A kutatás célja egy új méretezési módszer kidolgozása és összehasonlítása klasszikus megoldásokkal. | For the design of fluid disperse columns (FDC) it is necessary to gain more precise knowledge of hydrodynamic and mass transport properties. In addition to dust, the various technological gases may contain some other components that are harmful in terms of environmental protection or operation (e.g. NH3, SO2, NOx), which are separated with continuous gas-liquid phase contacting units. Besides conventional columns of disk structure facilitating gradual contact, there are columns of various designs with ordered or disordered packing elements, which may be static or dynamic in terms of operation. We have performed a pilot plant study in the FDC with the aim of increasing the efficiency of mass transfer between the phases. We operated the pilot FDC plant at various operating parameters. The results of hydrodynamic and mass transfer measurements were included in comparative diagrams. The objective of the research is to elaborate a new method of design and to perform its comparison with conventional solutions
