    Jackfruit seeds are the source of carbohydrate, protein and energy. Jackfruit seeds have pouch of high carbohydrate, so they have potential in making flour. This research has goal to know the influence of long submerging jackfruit seeds in natrium metabisulfit and the way in drying to the quality of jackfruit seeds flour. This research uses completing disordered plan, factorial pattern contains of 2 factors. The first is the long submerging jackfruit seeds in natrium metabisulfit 600 ppm (N) these are 3 hours (N1), 4 hours (N2), and 5 hours (N3). The second is the way in drying (P) which is use 70°C during 2,5 hours (P1) and sun rayduring 3-5 days (P2). The parameter used is the degree of carbohydrate and the quality of flour which are including the texture, the color, the aroma, and the capacity of receiving. The result of this research shows that the long factor in drying in natrium metabisulfit has influence on the degree of carbohydrate and not influence on the quality of flour which are including the texture, the color, the aroma, and the capacity of receiving. The way in drying has influence in the degree of carbohydrate, the color, the capacity of receiving and not influence in the texture and the aroma. The highest degree of carbohydrate can be found in long treating of drying jackfruit seeds in natrium metabisulfit during 3 hours with the oven 70°C in drying during 2,5 hours (N1P1)

    Generally coffee drink is a beverage produced from the processing of coffee beans. It’s containing high caffeine that if consumed in excessive amounts will adversely affect the health, because it have been decaffeination technology to reduce levels of caffeine in the coffee. But the technology was considered too expensive. The coffee drinks are made from papaya seeds combined with jackfruit be an alternative to decaffeinated coffee. This study aims to determine the organoleptic qualities (color, texture, flavour, taste) and antioxidant activity of coffee powder from a combination of papaya seed and jackfruit with different long roasting. This research method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor is papaya seeds compare with jackfruit (K) that 50g: 100g (K1), 75g: 75g (K2), and 100g: 50g (K3). The second factor is roasting duration 12 minutes (L1), 14 minutes (L2), and 16 minutes (L3). Testing of antioxidant activity with DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) by means of UV-Vis Spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 520 nm. The test results are the highest antioxidant activity in treatment K3L1 by 95.19% and the lowest in treatment K1L3 of 86.77%. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance SPSS two lanes (Two Way Anova) shows the influence of two factors on the quality of coffee products.     Tofu is a food processed soybean, in the process of tofu making out, liquid waste that contains organic matter, so that the waste water is expected to be beneficial to the soil to meet the nutrient in plants roselle. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of concentration and frequency of watering liquid waste out of the tofu for growth of roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa). This research was arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the concentration of the liquid waste out of tofu consists of 3 levels: 1,5%, 2%, 2,5%. The second factor is the frequency of watering consists of 3 levels: 2 days, 5 days, 7 days. Data were analyzed by 2-way analysis of variance test (ANOVA), to see the effect of treatments then continued by Least Significant Difference test (LSD). Analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the concentration and frequency of watering liquid waste out of the tofu effluent know an impact on growth plant height, number of leaves, and leaf width roselle plant. The best treatment for stem height is K1F1 (concentration of wastewater know 1,5% with the frequency of watering 2 days) is 42.2 cm. The best treatment for a number of leaves is K3F3 (concentration of wastewater know 2,5% with the frequency of watering 7 days) of 10 leaves. The best treatment for leaf width is K3F2 (concentration of wastewater know 2,5% with the frequency of watering 5 days) which is 5 cm

    Carbohydrate is the most needed nutrient of mushroom mycelium growth. Foxtail millet flour has higher carbohydrate content that can be used as a substitute for potatoes in the manufacture of F0 mushrooms seed. Potato contains 19,10 g carbohydrate, while foxtail millet flour contains 68,32 g carbohydrate. The research aims to determine the growth of F0 oyster mushroom and straw mushroom seed with use foxtail millet flour as alternative media on different concentrations. This research use experimental method research with Completely Randomized Design (RAL) of factorial pattern, which consist of two factors are concentration of foxtail millet flour and type of mushroom. The analysis technique use qualitative descriptive data. Based on the results of the research, the best average of growth speed mycelium on J2T2 (Concentration of foxtail millet 15%, straw mushroom) with the diameter of mycelium is 3,1 cm and the density of mycelium is tight. Whereas the worst average of growth speed mycelium on J1T3 (Concentration of foxtail millet 20%, oyster mushroom) with has not mycelium growth

    Dirt goat and rabbit droppings are types of animal waste utilization is not maximized. If the waste is treated both types can produce a liquid organic fertilizer which can be used in agriculture. The aim of research to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from rabbits goat manure and dirt on the growth of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.) hydroponically. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Green House Education Sciences, the Faculty of Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The method used in this study is an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) pattern of the factors are the type of liquid organic fertilizer of goat manure and rabbit droppings three replications. Data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The best treatment for high growth stems are P1 (liquid fertilizer goat manure 500 ml) is with an average growth of 1.7 cm for one month. The best treatment for a number of leaves is P2 (liquid fertilizer rabbit droppings 500 ml) is with an average growth of 3 leaves

    The growth and development of the plant soursop require nutrien elements that usually comes from synthetic chemical or organic. Water washing rice contains phosphorus, nitrogen, vitamins B1 and cassava peels extract contains carbon, nitrogen and sulfur can be used as an extra nutrients for the plant soursop. This purpose of reseach to determine the influence of the type of watering and concentration water washing rice and cassava peesl extract on the growth of the pland soursop ( Annoma muricata L.). The reseach contains of 2 factors, the first factor is the type of watering that is made up of water washing rice and cassava peels extract and the second factor is the concentration, namely 50 %, 755 and 100%. Treatment without water washing rice and cassava peels extract acts as a control. The reseach showed the best results is a mixture of water washing rice and cassava peels extract concentration of high growth stem 3,90 cm, number of leaves 1,66 (5 leaves) and length of the rood 2,30 cm of the plant soursop

Dragon fruit skins contain anthocyanins manifold sianidin 3-glucoside ramnosil 5-glucoside. Anthocyanins may serve to degrade cholesterol in the blood. Stevia leaf is a leaf that is often used as a natural sweetener for foods and beverages. Phytochemical compounds contained in stevia leaves are alkaloids, saponins, tannins, phenolics, flavonoids, triterfenoid, steroids, glycosides. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity and the organoleptic quality herbal extract syrup starfruit with variations addition of dragon fruit peel and leaves of stevia. The study design used completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of two factors, namely: Factor 1 is the dragon fruit skin extract ( 25 ml, 50 ml, 75 ml ) and the second factor is the concentration of stevia leaves ( 0.6 g; 0.9 g ) with repeated 3 times repetition. Based on the findings contained in the highest antioxidant activity of 80.83% N3S2 treatment (extract formulation starfruit 50 ml with dragon fruit skin extracts 75 ml and 0.9 g stevia leaf), while the antioxidant activity was lowest for the treatment N1S2 29.30 % (extract formulation starfruit 50 ml with dragon fruit skin extracts 25 ml and 0.6 g stevia leaf). Treatment quality herbal syrup N3S2 most dominant in the treatment preferred by the panelists while treatment quality herbal syrup is less well to treatment less favored N1S1 panelist

    The content contained on the banana weevil are calcium, phosphorus, carbohydrates, protein, iron, while the banana skin contain nitrogen, carbohydrates and others that are necessary plant. Weevil bananas and banana skin can be applied as a liquid fertilizer or MOL (Local Microorganisms). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the banana weevil MOL and banana skin on the growth of lettuce plants with hydroponics media. This study uses quantitative methods experiment with completely randomized design (CRD) two factors: the type of MOL (Q0: plain water, Q1: banana weevil, Q2: banana skin) and the concentration of MOL (P1: Concentration 18%, Q2: 24% concentration , P3: concentration 30%) and 9 treatments and 3 replications. Analysis of the data used is two way anova at the level of 5% F, known concentrations of MOL no significant effect on growth (stem length, number of leaves, leaf width), while the types of MOL significantly to the growth of lettuce plants. To know the real difference between the treatments tested the Least Significant Difference Q1P2 is 2.16 cm, number of leaves Q2P2 is 2, and the leaves are Q1P2 width of 1.5 cm

    Yoghurt is one form of milk processing results of beverage products that utilize microbes in the fermentation of fresh milk into a semi solid emulsion production with a more acid. Bligo fruits have properties that tastes fresh. This research aims to know the influence of the addition of a concentration of starter bacteria and fruit extracts jackfruit against organoleptic and the levels of vitamin C in fruit yogurt bligo. The methods used in this study was a randomized Complete design (RAL) 2 factors. The first factor was the concentration of the starter bacteria (L) with three treatments, namely 3%, 7%, and 11%. The second factor jackfruit fruit extract (U) with three treatment i.e. 5%, 10% and 15%. The results showed that the real influence and interaction occurs between the starter and the concentration of fruit extracts jackfruit to quality organoleptic and the levels of vitamin C fruit yogurt bligo is generated. Organoleptic treatment addition concentration 3% starter and without fruit extracts jackfruit (U1L0) is a yogurt fruit bligo the best in accordance with Indonesia's National Standard (SNI), which has a pale white color, aroma of yogurt, sour taste, creamy texture (soft), and accept love. Levels of vitamin C in the treatment of concentration addition starter 11% and 5% jackfruit fruit extract (U3L1) produces the highest levels of vitamin C that is of 7,743 mg.     The cornhusk and corncob are part of plants that can be used as the base material of paper art. They have a high cellulose fiber content. The purpose of this study to determine the tensile strength, tear strength, and sensory test of art paper from cornhusk and corncob. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial design, with 3 repetitions. Factor 1 is the ratio of cornhusk with corncob (A), A1 (1: 1), A2 (1: 3), and A3 (3: 1). The second factor is the addition of teak leaves (B), B1: without teak leaves, B2: teak leaves 25g, B3: teak leaves 50g. The results showed art paper with the highest tensile strength and tear strength at treatment A3B3 (75g of cornhusk + 25g of corncob + 50g of teak leaves) 13.7116 N. Art paper with the lowest tensile strength at treatment A2B3 (25g of cornhusk + 75g of corncob + 50g of teak leaves) 6.9821 N. Art paper with the lowest tear strength at treatment A2B1 (25g of cornhusk + 75g of corncob without teak leaves) 7.6681 N. Art paper whose the most preferred is the treatment A3B1 (the color is yellow / bright, the fiber is not visible, and the texture is very smooth) and treatment A3B3 (the color is dark brown / assertive, the fiber is visible, and the texture is rough)
