Reducing United States Military Involvement
This paper addresses the effect that a tactical reduction of United States military personnel could potentially have on the threat of terrorism against the American homeland. While terrorist factions employ varying strategies to further their causes of opposition to western society and occupation, the United States continues to discreetly carry out policies that support incumbent governments and pursue high-risk targets at the risk of civilian casualties. The impact of this hostility can be derived from historical perspectives of neocolonialism and hegemony, but it is crucial to continue to maintain global security interests to prevent international terrorism. This paper explains the importance of the intelligence aspect of counter-terrorism and the various suggestions of transparency and better utilization of resources to uphold prevention of homeland terrorism
'Where Lies this Power Divine?': The Representation of Kingship in Aphra Behn's Early Tragicomedies
This essay examines the representation of kingship in Behn's two early tragicomedies, The Young King and The Forc'd Marriage, arguing that they present astute interrogations of the doctrine of divine right monarchy which was peddled so zealously during the first decade of the Restoration
The Effect of UNH Undergraduate Student Exercise on Academic Achievement
A number of existing studies focus on the effect exercise and dietary habits have on social relationships; however, few studies examine the relationship between exercise and academic performance on college students. In this study, surveys were administered to 202 students at the University of New Hampshire. Although the data presented no statistically significant findings to prove a correlation between exercise and academic performance, students who never exercised were shown to be more likely to do poorly rather than excel academically. Future research should consist of a larger sample using a random sampling method for better reliability and validity in determining a relationship between student exercise and academic performance

Role of Self-Interaction Effects in the Geometry Optimization of Small Metal Clusters
By combining the Self-Interaction Correction (SIC) with pseudopotential
perturbation theory, the role of self-interaction errors inherent to the Local
Density Approximation (LDA) to Density Functional Theory is estimated in the
determination of ground state and low energy isomeric structures of small
metallic clusters. Its application to neutral sodium clusters with 8 and 20
atoms shows that the SIC provides sizeable effects in Na_8, leading to a
different ordering of the low lying isomeric states compared with ab-initio LDA
predictions, whereas for Na_20, the SIC effects are less pronounced, such that
a quantitative agreement is achieved between the present method and ab-initio
LDA calculations.Comment: RevTeX, 4 pages, 1 figure available from [email protected]
