Positive almost periodicity on SICNNs incorporating mixed delays and D operator

    Get PDF
This article involves a kind of shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks incorporating D operator and mixed delays. First of all, we demonstrate that, under appropriate external input conditions, some positive solutions of the addressed system exist globally. Secondly, with the help of the differential inequality techniques and exploiting Lyapunov functional approach, some criteria are established to evidence the globally exponential stability on the positive almost periodic solutions. Eventually, a numerical case is provided to test and verify the correctness and reliability of the proposed findings

Comparative exploration on bifurcation behavior for integer-order and fractional-order delayed BAM neural networks

    Get PDF
In the present study, we deal with the stability and the onset of Hopf bifurcation of two type delayed BAM neural networks (integer-order case and fractional-order case). By virtue of the characteristic equation of the integer-order delayed BAM neural networks and regarding time delay as critical parameter, a novel delay-independent condition ensuring the stability and the onset of Hopf bifurcation for the involved integer-order delayed BAM neural networks is built. Taking advantage of Laplace transform, stability theory and Hopf bifurcation knowledge of fractional-order differential equations, a novel delay-independent criterion to maintain the stability and the appearance of Hopf bifurcation for the addressed fractional-order BAM neural networks is established. The investigation indicates the important role of time delay in controlling the stability and Hopf bifurcation of the both type delayed BAM neural networks. By adjusting the value of time delay, we can effectively amplify the stability region and postpone the time of onset of Hopf bifurcation for the fractional-order BAM neural networks. Matlab simulation results are clearly presented to sustain the correctness of analytical results. The derived fruits of this study provide an important theoretical basis in regulating networks

On the Weighted Pseudo Almost Periodic Solutions of Nicholson’s Blowflies Equation

    Get PDF
This study is concerned with the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions of a generalized Nicholson’s blowflies equation with mixed delays. Using some differential inequalities and a fixed point theorem, sufficient conditions were obtained for the existence, uniqueness of at the least a weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions and global exponential stability of this solution. The results of this study are new and complementary to the previous ones can be found in the literature. At the end of the study an example is given to show the accuracy of our results

Global exponential stability of nonautonomous neural network models with unbounded delays

    Get PDF
For a nonautonomous class of n-dimensional di erential system with in nite delays, we give su cient conditions for its global exponential stability, without showing the existence of an equilibrium point, or a periodic solution, or an almost periodic solution. We apply our main result to several concrete neural network models, studied in the literature, and a comparison of results is given. Contrary to usual in the literature about neural networks, the assumption of bounded coe cients is not need to obtain the global exponential stability. Finally, we present numerical examples to illustrate the e ectiveness of our results. The paper was supported by the Research Center of Mathematics of University of Minho with the Portuguese Funds from the FCT - “Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia”, through the Project UID/MAT/00013/2013. Improved synchronization analysis of competitive neural networks with time-varying delays

    Get PDF
Synchronization and control are two very important aspects of any dynamical systems. Among various kinds of nonlinear systems, competitive neural network holds a very important place due to its application in diverse fields. The model is general enough to include, as subclass, the most famous neural network models such as competitive neural networks, cellular neural networks and Hopfield neural networks. In this paper, the problem of feedback controller design to guarantee synchronization for competitive neural networks with time-varying delays is investigated. The goal of this work is to derive an existent criterion of the controller for the exponential synchronization between drive and response neutral-type competitive neural networks with time-varying delays. The method used in this brief is based on feedback control gain matrix by using the Lyapunov stability theory. The synchronization conditions are given in terms of LMIs. To the best of our knowledge, the results presented here are novel and generalize some previous results. Some numerical simulations are also represented graphically to validate the effectiveness and advantages of our theoretical results
