Visualizing Information on the Web
Aplikácia umožňuje priehľadnú vizualizáciu atributov súborov a adresárov. The aim of this thesis is to investigate available tools for visualizing data on the web, to analyze and evaluate these tools by visualization possibilities of var- ious data types, interaction possibilities with the data, extension options, and availability/price. Based on the analysis to select one (or more) of these tools and to implement the application for visual- izing filesystem on Google Drive. Ap- plication is able to visualize attributes of files and directiories. Application has two connected views to same data, in- teracting with each other
Vízminőségi monitoringadatok feldolgozása és publikálása WebGIS-támogatással
A monitoring adatokon alapuló vízminőséget leíró kvalitatív értékelés legfontosabb feladata a vízminőség
(Water Quality Index, CCME Water Quality Index, Degree of Conatamination Index) bevonásával olyan -alapú interaktív
analitikai eszközt mutat be, amelyet szabadon elérhetővé és felhasználhatóvá tettünk közösségi használatra. A nyers
A WebGIS-architektúrákkal
foglalkozó kutatások egyetértenek abban, hogy a felhőalapú technológiák mellett a mesterséges intelligencia és a neurális
hálózatok jelenléte hosszú távon megkerülhetetlen lesz a téradatalapú innovatív fejlesztésekben
A Etapa 3 aprofunda e discute a fundamentação teórica
A Etapa 5 apresenta e analisa as
Contemporary society is undergoing a transformation in the way it communicates and consumes
Visual Complex Information. Technological advances involving data analysis and cross-checking
have generated a significant increase in the information available. The Brazilian National Treasury
is a state agency that often provides data and information related to the fiscal health of states and
municipalities, the so-called subnational entities. One of these Information is the Capag (Paying
Capacity) rating, which is released annually by the Brazilian Treasury through the Subnational
Entities Finance Bulletin and is highly expected by society, the press and governments. But is a
given data necessarily an information? The aim of the research is to investigate the perception of
Information Visualization from the perspective of Information Design and the use of Visual
Attributes to broaden the understanding of this Complex Data. The case study focuses on the
Information Visualization of Capag chapter in the 2016-2018 editions of the Bulletin. Through self-
report, interview, observation, documentary analysis, questionnaire and intervention in the
Treasury social networks, the study follows the path of Capag's Information Visualization. The
research initially analyzes the historical and visual course of the Bulletins from 2016 to 2017. The
2018 edition was structured and deepened in five Steps, as a way of analysis and decision making
for its publication. Step 1 followed the initial studies of Capag Views. Step 2 investigated the
perception of the servers through a questionnaire as a form of validation and decision making
about the best Views to be inserted in the chapter of Capag. Step 3 deepens and discusses the
theoretical foundation of the Views published. Step 4 looks at which Visualizations were most
effective from the interactions of followers on the agency's social networks. Step 5 presents and
analyzes the most recurring Views in the press. Through the method organized in steps it was
realized that the visual representation of Network Thinking better behaves Complex Data when
compared to traditional graphs. Among the Capag Views, it was observed that the visual flow
structure was the best understood, followed by treemap and lastly bubbles. The press commonly
uses the visual map structure to present the Capag rating. The map enables an affective
identification through geolocation, is part of the visual culture of society and acts as a good
communication tool. The results indicate a lack of society's ability to understand complex
structures of Network Thinking. This corroborates the fact that Information Design deepens the
study of Visual Attributes and acts even more as a facilitator in this communication process. It is
concluded that, for an effective understanding, the presentation of the data needs more visual
and textual elements that complement the understanding of the information. Even redundant and
