THE SERVICE MODELS AND TECHNICAL MODELS OF AGRICULTURAL INFORMATIONIZATION
Types of rural-urban gaps exist and seem expand in China, although agriculture and rural lives have obtained significant enhancement since the opening and reforming policy started in 1980. Amongst these gaps, digital gap is critical itself, and may widen other gaps. How to promote agricultural infor-mationization (agri-informationization) effectively and efficiently is a great challenge to Chinese government and Chinese people nowadays. Meanwhile, the agri-informationization also brings opportunities with new markets, new technology and new rural culture, etc. Firstly, this article introduces the background about Chinese rural areas and rural economy in brief. Secondly, it gives focus on typical types of information service models and information technical models which appearing in the process of agri-informationization. Thirdly, the problems and challenges are analyzed. Finally, the article ends up with a conclusion section. We wish the information service models and technical models introduced here be meaningful references for multiple stakeholders, such as police-makers, basic-level officers, farmers, and information companies, in China and in other developing countries
Role of Cloud Computing Technology in Agriculture Fields
Use of Cloud computing technology in agricultural areas has greater chance in the overall development of India. An effective implementation of cloud computing is encouraging in agricultural sector. Cloud Computing is emerging today as a commercial infrastructure that eliminates the need for maintaining expensive computing hardware, software, Information technology, staff, infrastructure, recourses and their maintenance. Cloud computing is a network-based environment that focuses on sharing computations, Cloud computing networks access to a shared pool of configurable networks, servers, storage, service, applications & other important computing resources. In modern era of cloud computing technology very helpful for centralized the all-agricultural related data bank (Soil-related, weather, Research, Crop, Farmers, Agriculture marketing, fertilizers and pesticide information) in the cloud. In this paper, also discuss Computing model, characteristics, deployment model, cloud service model, cloud benefits and challenge of cloud computing in agriculture field. Keywords: Cloud computing, Community model, Hybrid model, Public model, Private model, Agriculture, IaaS, Paas & Saa
Designing the Right IT Services for the Bottom of the Pyramid
This article introduces ways to create proper IT services which can help organizations serve the emerging rural markets. The research is based on a two-year action research project which derives a framework for building IT services for the low-income consumers in the rural area of China. The framework is proposed to understand the characteristics that the consumers in the rural area use the IT services, especially in China. The framework helps IT companies and governmental agencies design and improve the IT services they provided to the emerging market
Current Situation of and Countermeasures for the Development of Rural Informatization in China
Over the past three decades, informatization in China’s rural areas has gained some achievements in several aspects including the development of informational environment, the construction of infrastructure, information resources and the basic service system, as well as the application of information technology. Despite all the aforementioned achievements, some problems regarding organization and management, capital investment, talent cultivation, and farmers’ consciousness of informatization remain to be solved. Based on the status quo of the development of rural informatization in China, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures to tackle the existing problems and these measures include actively engaging in the innovation of the system and mechanism, in the optimization of the rural information resources, in the improvement of the rural information service system, and in the pilot demonstration project and in the promotion of typical cases
Research on optimization and improvement of agricultural supply chain model under the background of “Internet Plus”
“Internet +” technology brings new opportunities for the optimization of agricultural product supply chain model, and
constantly promotes the transformation and upgrading of agricultural product production, processing, sales, transportation and other
links. With the development of intelligent and digital technology, the online sales of agricultural products have been more optimized and
developed. Under the background of “Internet +”, the supply chain of agricultural products should make use of new technologies on the
basis of traditional, provide a good environment for the modernization of agricultural product sales, and form an effi cient supply chain
system. Based on this, this paper will focus on the optimization and improvement of agricultural product supply chain model under the
background of “Internet +”

Review of research progress on soil moisture sensor technology
Soil moisture is directly related to the amount of irrigation in agriculture and influences the yield of crops. Accordingly, a soil moisture sensor is an important tool for measuring soil moisture content. In this study, the previous research conducted in recent 2-3 decades on soil moisture sensors was reviewed and the principles of commonly used soil moisture sensor and their various applications were summarized. Furthermore, the advantages, disadvantages, and influencing factors of various measurement methods employed were compared and analyzed. The improvements were presented by several scholars have established the major applications and performance levels of soil moisture sensors, thereby setting the course for future development. These studies indicated that soil moisture sensors in the future should be developed to achieve high-precision, low-cost, non-destructive, automated, and highly integrated systems. Also, it was indicated that future studies should involve the development of specialized sensors for different applications and scenarios. This review research aimed to provide a certain reference for application departments and scientific researchers in the process of selecting soil moisture sensor products and measuring soil moisture
Empirical analysis on impact of FDI on the level of urbanization in costal areas
Purpose: There is a close relationship between FDI and the level of urbanization. the
objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between FDI and the level of
urbanization in Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces in costal areas.
Design/methodology/approach: The author uses the modern econometric methods by
panel unit root test, cointegration test, random effects models and fixed effects models, and the
data of FDI (2000-2012), urbanization rate, industrial structure and regional GDP of Nanjing,
Xuzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi and other 13 cities in Jiangsu Province, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and
other 19 cities in Guangdong province, researches the relationship between FDI and
urbanization rate.
Findings: Models show, FDI was closely correlated with urbanization rate in Jiangsu province
and Guangdong province, the highly correlated with industrial structure, while it negatively
correlated with the growth of GDP, and the degree of correlation is not high in Jiangsu
province, but the high negative correlation in Guangdong province. The results shows the
industrial structure and the urbanization rate mainly cause FDI growth.
Research limitations/implications: There are many provinces in costal areas of China, this
paper just research the relationship between FDI and the level of urbanization in Jiangsu
province and Guangdong province, there are some limitations in the study areas and results.Peer Reviewe
