The files on this record represent the various databases that originally composed the CD-ROM issue of "Abstracts on Radio Direction Finding" database, which is now part of the Dudley Knox Library's Abstracts and Selected Full Text Documents on Radio Direction Finding (1899 - 1995) Collection. (See Calhoun record https://calhoun.nps.edu/handle/10945/57364 for further information on this collection and the bibliography). Due to issues of technological obsolescence preventing current and future audiences from accessing the bibliography, DKL exported and converted into the three files on this record the various databases contained in the CD-ROM. Estudo sobre o comprimento mínimo das diagonais em gráficos de recorrência

Defesa : Curitiba, 01/10/2021Inclui referências: p. 75-79Resumo: Neste trabalho será abordado o conceito e algumas propriedades de séries temporais, assim como serão citadas formas de analisa-las. Em particular, será discutido o método que utiliza gráficos de recorrências. Dentro deste contexto, serão mostrados algumas formas de se analisar um gráfico de recorrências a partir de seus quantificadores utilizados no âmbito da analise de quantificação de recorrências. Dentre estes quantificadores, ha um em particular chamado determinismo, que possui em sua definição um parâmetro livre denotado por l min, que atualmente e definido por critérios pouco objetivos. O objetivo deste trabalho e discutir a forma atual de escolha deste parâmetro, assim como propor um critério de escolha para o l min com base em duas restrições e no princípio de maximização de entropia. O critério proposto foi aplicado para series com diferentes comportamentos dinâmicos no calculo do determinismo, e foi visto que de fato é possível encontrar o parâmetro em questão de forma que as restricoes sejam satisfeitas. Os resultados mostram tambem que á possável gerar valores para o determinismo em maior concordancia com seu comportamento.Abstract: In this work the concept and some properties of time series will be addressed, as well as ways to analyze them will be mentioned. In particular, the method of recurrence plots will be discussed. Within this context, some ways to analyze a recurrence graph from its quantifiers used in the scope of recurrence quantification analysis will be shown. Among these quantifiers there is one in particular called determinism, which has in its definition a free parameter denoted by lmjn , which is currently defined by non-objective criteria. The objective of this work is to discuss the current way of choosing this parameter, as well as to propose a choice criterion for the lmin based on two restrictions and the principle of entropy maximization. The proposed criterion was applied to series with different dynamic behaviors in the determinism calculation and it was seen that it is in fact possible to find the parameter in question so that the restrictions are satisfied. The results also show that it is possible to generate values for determinism in greater agreement with its behavior

This document describes the Fiscal Year 1996 activities and products of the Environmental Sciences Division, Office of Biological and Environmental Research, Office of Energy Research. The report is organized into four main sections.
