日本語教育支援のための汎用的教材構成要素の開発と流通に関する研究 平成11年度～平成14年度科学研究費補助金基盤研究 (B)(1)研究成果報告書

本研究｢日本語教育支援のための汎用的教材構成要素の開発と流通に関する研究｣は，平成11～14年度科学研究費補助金(基盤研究(B) (1) )を受けて行ったものである。これまで，日本語教育支援システム(Computer Assisted System for TEaching & Learning / Japanese，以下CASTEL/Jと称する。)プロジェクトは，国立教育政策研究所が中心となって継続的に開発研究を進めてきた。その結果，素材データの収集とデータベース化，そしてデータベースの流通促進を図るという目的は一応達成した。しかし，実際にデータベースを公開すると，日本語教育関係者(研究者，教師，学習者)から，必要に応じて適切なデータを瞬時にかつ簡易に取り出すことができないと，膨大なデータベースの有効活用が図れないという指摘を受けた。そこで，本研究では，様々なデータベースを分析し，日本語教育支援のための教材構成要素を明らかにすることを試みた。さらに，日本語教育用データベースを量と質の面で向上させること，そして，このデータベースを国内外の広範囲な日本語教育機関に普及させることも主たる研究目的とした。本研究により，｢日本語教育とコンピュータ｣に関する最新の情報を広範囲な研究者に提供することと，日本語教師を支援するための高品質かつ大量な教育用リソース(教材)を開発することができたと確信している。本研究組織が中心となり，平成14年7月，米国カリフォルニア大学サンデェゴ校で，第3回｢日本語教育とコンピュータ｣国際会議(CASTEL/J 2002)を開催した。本報告書は，ここでの研究発表論文を取りまとめたものであり，｢日本語教育とコンピュータ｣に関心のある研究者に有益な情報を提供しようとするものである
