Developing business process management in Viking Security AS inventory services

Magistritöö Majandusarvestuse ja finantsjuhtimise õppekavalMuutused majanduskeskkonnas seavad kõrged ootused ettevõtete juhtidele ning eeldavad muutusi juhtimispraktikates. Protsessipõhise juhtimise rakendamine parandab ressursikasutuse jälgimist, hajutab võimalikke riske ning lisab väärtust kõigile protsessis osalejatele. Protsesside parendamise kaudu on ettevõtetel võimalik pakkuda paremat kaupa, teenuseid ning seeläbi tõsta tervikuna ettevõtte kvaliteeti. Käesoleva magistritöö eesmärk on töötada välja kava protsessijuhtimise arendamiseks Viking Security AS inventeerimisteenuste valdkonnas. Eesmärgi täitmiseks viidi läbi protsessikaardistus ja –analüüs, mille alusel toodi välja peamised kitsaskohad ja probleemid ning hinnati protsessipõhise juhtimise rakendamist Viking Security inventeerimisteenustes. Tegemist on kvalitatiivse uuringuga. Andmete kogumiseks kasutati dokumendianalüüsi, intervjuud ja vaatlust. Tulemustest selgus, et Viking Security inventeerimisvaldkonnas toimuvad protsessid on ressursikulukad ja protsessijuhtimise printsiipe järgitakse vaid mõningal määral. Inventeerimisvaldkond saaks senisest võimekamalt toimida, kui täiendatakse teadmisi protsessijuhtimisest ja selle rakendamise, parendamise võimalustest. Protsessis osalejate intensiivsem kaasamine tõstaks motivatsiooni, rahulolu ja usaldust ettevõtte suhtes, mis peegeldub töö kvaliteedil. Kvaliteet kajastub rahuloleva kliendi ja laiema kliendibaasi näol. Magistriöö metoodikat, ettepanekuid on võimalik sobivusel rakendada ka teistes ettevõtetes tulemuslikkuse tõstmiseks.Changes in the economic environment set high expectations for company managers and require changes in management practices. Implementing process-based management improves the monitoring of resource use, diversifies potential risks and adds value to all participants in the process. By improving processes, companies can offer better goods and services and thus increase the quality of the company as a whole. The aim of this master's thesis is to provide the suggestions for developing business process management. In order to fulfil the purpose, process mapping and analysis was performed, main bottlenecks and problems were identified and the implementation of process-based management in Viking Security inventory services was assessed. Qualitative research method was used in the master’s thesis. Process mapping and analysis is based on document analysis, interviews and observation. Based on the research results it was concluded that the processes in Viking Security's inventory services are resource-intensive and that the principles of process management were followed only to a certain extent. The inventory field could function more efficiently than before if the knowledge of process management and the possibilities of its implementation and improvement are improved. More intensive involvement of the participants in the process would increase motivation, satisfaction and trust in the company, which is reflected in the quality of work. Quality is reflected in a satisfied customer and a wider customer base. The methodology and proposals of the master's thesis can also be applied in other companies to increase performance

Aplicación de la gestión por procesos para mejorar la productividad en el centro de distribución de Saga Falabella, Lima, 2021

La presente investigación cuyo título es: “Aplicación de la Gestión por procesos para mejorar la productividad en el centro de distribución de Saga Falabella, Lima, 2021”, tuvo por objetivo: Determinar de qué manera la gestión de procesos mejora la productividad en el centro de distribución de Saga Falabella, Lima, 2021. Respecto al método, el tipo de investigación cuantitativa y por su finalidad aplicada, siendo su diseño de investigación fue cuasi experimental. La población estuvo conformada por el número de órdenes programadas a tiendas, por lo que es una muestra no probabilística por conveniencia definida por la cantidad de pedidos programados por el almacén recogida durante el mes de diciembre del 2020. Para el pre test y una muestra similar en el mes de mayo del 2021 para el pos test. Se hizo uso de fichas de recolección de datos y analizados por el software SPSS versión 24. En conclusión se tiene que con la mejora de la productividad en el centro de distribucion de Saga Falabella, alcanzando un 16,3%, tambien la eficiencia mejoró en 7.45% y la eficacia en 15%, siendo relevante la mejora de los procesos de recepción, almacenamiento y distribución
