The literature that discusses HR management practices in the hospitality and tourism industry is still relatively limited, even though there are many issues related to human resources in the hospitality and tourism sectors. This paper aims to examine the literature related to employee engagement practices in the hospitality and tourism sectors and their impact on other constructs. To obtain literature data, the publish or perish software was used and the Google Scholar database was selected. The keyword used is "work engagement hospitality tourism". In the initial search, 200 literatures were obtained from 2016 to 2021. Then the 200 literatures were selected so that 75 references were obtained. Using the Mendeley reference manager and Publish or Perish software, data on the most cited articles, top-tier journals, and top publishers were collected. Furthermore, the 75 references were processed using the VOS Viewer so that cluster data was obtained which consisted of the items that appear in each cluster. Overlay visualization, density visualization, and author network associated with keywords were also illustrated. This study provides an overview for further research related to employee work involvement, especially in the tourism hospitality industry

Mapping the literature on social responsibility and stakeholders’ pressures in the mining industry

Mining activities can be good for the local economy, but they can also have a negative impact, which has created increasing pressure from stakeholders. A constructive and positive engagement between a company and its stakeholders is important for sustainability issues and can provide a shared understanding of sustainable development. This review aims to examine the growth trajectory, the most influential documents, and the conceptual framework of the literature on stakeholder engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the mining industry. Moreover, tries to answer the following research questions: What research streams have been followed? Which theories and research paradigms have been used? A bibliometric analysis was performed using 149 documents extracted from the Web of Science and Scopus databases. The documents obtained were analysed using Bibliometrix software. The results suggest that the most studied constructs within the mining industry are related to sustainability issues, management and legitimacy concerns, and the importance of stakeholders, particularly local communities, and the social impacts that mining generates. The study contributes to the literature by reviewing prominent cited references and documents that cited them, the authors provide the landscapes and research gaps of major research lines for further development. The research of the author Maria-CĂ©u Alves was funded by National Funds through the FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology), I.P., within the scope of the project Ref. Problem Definition: Scientific journals that publish the most up-to-date research, like everything else, need to be evaluated from different dimensions. Paykareh Quarterly is one of the scientific journals that has published about 23 issues and 125 articles so far (up to the present research). The present study addresses the following issues: The level of participation of group research authors; Research method used in articles; Total number and the average of citations per article; Citation of books, journals, dissertations, and other sources of information; Language status and update rate of citations; The most prolific author among the authors of article sources; The most references cited by the authors of the articles in this journal. Objective: The primary purpose of this research is to analyze the content and citations of the articles published in the Paykareh scientific journal and compare the results with the current world journals to promote the status of the present journal.Research Method: The research method is citation analysis, and Rover-Matrix and Excel software have been used to analyze the data. The statistical population includes 23 issues of Paykareh quarterly, the statistical sample of which contains 125 articles selected from these quarterly issues. Results: Out of 125 articles reviewed, 44 articles were written by one author, and 81 articles were produced by two or more authors. The most used method (82%) is the descriptive-analytical method. The total number of citations in 23 issues of this publication was 2482, and its citation average for each article was 20. According to the research findings, among the information sources, books with 64% citations were cited more than other sources, and Persian language sources were 72% higher than Latin sources. Concerning the recency of the sources, 38% were related to the outdated. Among the authors, the works of Ruyin Pakbaz, Mohammad Khazaei, Mahnaz Shayestehfar, and Ali Akbar Dehkhoda have been cited the most. Also, the encyclopedia of art books, Dehkhoda dictionary, and Fargang-e Mosavar (illustrated dictionary) have been the traditional symbols of most cited books

    Software Citation Implementation Challenges

The main output of the FORCE11 Software Citation working group (https://www.force11.org/group/software-citation-working-group) was a paper on software citation principles (https://doi.org/10.7717/peerj-cs.86) published in September 2016. This paper laid out a set of six high-level principles for software citation (importance, credit and attribution, unique identification, persistence, accessibility, and specificity) and discussed how they could be used to implement software citation in the scholarly community. In a series of talks and other activities, we have promoted software citation using these increasingly accepted principles. At the time the initial paper was published, we also provided guidance and examples on how to make software citable, though we now realize there are unresolved problems with that guidance. The purpose of this document is to provide an explanation of current issues impacting scholarly attribution of research software, organize updated implementation guidance, and identify where best practices and solutions are still needed

    Publication patterns in HEP computing

An overview of the evolution of computing-oriented publications in high energy physics following the start of operation of LHC. Quantitative analyses are illustrated, which document the production of scholarly papers on computing-related topics by high energy physics experiments and core tools projects, and the citations they receive. Several scientometric indicators are analyzed to characterize the role of computing in high energy physics literature. Distinctive features of software-oriented and hardware-oriented scholarly publications are highlighted. Current patterns and trends are compared to the situation in previous generations' experiments.Comment: To be published in the Proc. of CHEP (Computing in High Energy Physics) 201

As rightly pointed out earlier, research ethics advises authors to avoid plagiarism. Citing the used references in scientific works is the best way of preventing plagiarism. There are some guidelines on the internet that helps authors to observe ethical writing tips. We cite others' works in many different ways. Firstly, we should know that what is the difference between a reference and citation and why we cite

Mergers & acquisitions research: A bibliometric study of top strategy and international business journals, 1980–2010

Mergers and acquisitions (M&As) are important modes through which firms carry out their domestic and international strategies and have been noted as the CEOs favorite strategy. As a significant field of study, M&Aresearch has accumulated substantial knowledge. This bibliometric study examines the extant strategy and international business literature on M&As. Methodologically, we examined a sample of 334 articles published in sixteen leading management/business journals, during a 31 year period — from 1980 to 2010. The results provide a global perspective of the field, identifying the works that have had the greater impact, the intellectual interconnections among authors and works, the main research traditions, or themes, delved upon on M&Arelated research. Structural and longitudinal analyses reveal the changes in the intellectual structure of the field over time. A discussion on the accumulated knowledge and future research avenues concludes this paper.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

The Citation Field of Evolutionary Economics

Evolutionary economics has developed into an academic field of its own, institutionalized around, amongst others, the Journal of Evolutionary Economics (JEE). This paper analyzes the way and extent to which evolutionary economics has become an interdisciplinary journal, as its aim was: a journal that is indispensable in the exchange of expert knowledge on topics and using approaches that relate naturally with it. Analyzing citation data for the relevant academic field for the Journal of Evolutionary Economics, we use insights from scientometrics and social network analysis to find that, indeed, the JEE is a central player in this interdisciplinary field aiming mostly at understanding technological and regional dynamics. It does not, however, link firmly with the natural sciences (including biology) nor to management sciences, entrepreneurship, and organization studies. Another journal that could be perceived to have evolutionary acumen, the Journal of Economic Issues, does relate to heterodox economics journals and is relatively more involved in discussing issues of firm and industry organization. The JEE seems most keen to develop theoretical insights
