    Early childhood need proper media when they want to express their willingnesses and feelings due to they havent got verbal communication ability well. Pictures or visual art can be used as media that can depicture children feelings when they can not talk. In more mature age phase, pictures or visual art made by children can be rendered as expressive media to measure perceptions they have. Hence, pictures can be made as aid media to develop language skill to children. There are some steps that need to be conducted for giving stimulus that can produce visual art containing typical original story for children. Creating visual art is one of steps that can be conducted to enhance kinds of intelligence components in early age children. Besides, it is used to develop spatial-visual intelligence in the children, creating visual art can be proceeded as one of ways of developing language creativity. Utilizing visual art can enact the children more helpful in narrating about something. Describing a thing experienced by the children then narrates it, is one of step for them in expressing their feelings on something. Therefore, by means of visual creation development, a teacher is be able to increase children capabilities in communication and their ability in intellectual. Anak usia dini membutuhkan media yang tepat ketika akan mengungkapkan keinginan serta perasaannya saat mereka belum memiliki kemampuan komunikasi verbal yang baik. Gambar atau karya visual dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media yang menceritakan perasaan anak ketika mereka tidak berbicara. Pada tahapan usia yang lebih matang, gambar atau karya visual yang dibuat oleh anak-anak dapat dijadikan sebagai media ekspresi serta untuk mengukur wawasan yang dimiliki oleh mereka. Karena itu, gambar dapat dijadikan sebagai media yang membantu mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasa pada anak. Agar dapat menghasilkan karya visual yang kaya dengan cerita asli khas anak-anak, banyak langkah yang perlu dilakukan untuk memberi stimulus. Menciptakan karya visual adalah salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan berbagai komponen kecerdasan pada anak usia dini. Selain untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan visual-spasial pada anak, menciptakan karya visual dapat dilakukan sebagai salah satu cara pengembangan kreativitas berbahasa. Menggunakan karya visual membuat anak-anak lebih terbantu dalam bercerita mengenai suatu hal. Menggambarkan hal yang dialami oleh anak kemudian menceritakannya adalah merupakan salah satu jalan bagi mereka mengekspresikan perasaannya terhadap sesuatu. Dengan demikian, melalui pengembangan karya visual, guru dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam berkomunikasi serta peningkatan kemampuan berpikirnya

    It has been calculated theoretically using the partial wave methods for the elastic scattering differential cross-section of electron-argon at 10.4 eV.  The wave function from Schrodinger equation  was computed by the Numerov integration methods.  For simplicity of scattering system , the Gaussian potential form has been employed.  For comparison between theoretical and experimental approach then we used the test. The  for this research is 2.386 that shows this calculation is good.&nbsp

    EFEKTIVITAS VARIABEL MEDIATOR BERDASARKAN KONTRIBUSINYA DALAM MODEL MEDIASI SEDERHANA

    Structurally relationship of variables is important in deeply analysis of path models, but the process of effect distribution must be concerned. In this situation, one or more variable would be a mediator variable which assessing effect of an independent to a dependent variable. We studied the simple mediation model that is one of path analytical models which contain of one independent variable, dependent variable and mediator variable. A necessary component of mediation is effectiveness that is a statistically significant indirect effect, formal significance tests of indirect effects are early conducted by Sobel (1982). According to sequential regression analysis on a simple mediation model, a mediator variable come after an independent variable exist in the model, the contribution of upcoming variable to the model could be obtained. We argue the importance of investigating empirical relationship between the significance of indirect effects and sequential contribution of mediator variable with a normal theory approach using Microsoft Excel simulation tools developed by Myerson (2000). We find that the higher contribution of mediator variable to the model, the more effectiveness is. This result comes up with three level correlation of independent and dependent variable which each 1000 times iteration that gives relatively immediate information about the recent empirical relationship between the significance of indirect effects and sequential contribution of mediator in the simple mediation models

    PENGARUH ORGANIC SOIL TREATMENT (OST) DAN SELANG WAKTU APLIKASI LARUTAN LANDETO TERHADAP HASIL BAWANG MERAH PADA REGOSOL

    This research was intended to determine the rate of Organic Soil Treatment (OST) and the interval of application of Landeto solution or their interaction on the growth of shallots grown in the regosol soil. This research was conducted in the green house of Departement of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture Gadjah Mada University. A Randomized Complete Block Design, employing a factorial treatment was chosen. The first factors was rates of OST, i.e,: 0, 3, 6, 9 and 12 ton ha?. The second factors was interval of application of Landeto Solution, i.e, : 3, 5 and 7 days. The combination treatments were repeated 3 times. Results of the research showed that; 1) Intermedien between rates of OST at 6 ton ha? and interval of application of Landeto solution ot 5 days, was found in bulb number per hills ( 29.87, cm2 ) respectively. 2) Application of OST, at 6 ton ha? had a significant effect on the plant fresh weight and the fresh bulb weigth, 3) Application of Landeto solution at different intervals had no significant effect on all components and crop yield

    The aim of this research is to determine character for drought tolerance character prediction of peanut national variety on germination phase using PEG 6000 solution. Preliminary test using drought tolerance genotipes (US 605 and US 693), susceptible genotipe (PI 409) conducted to evaluate appropriate concentration of PEG solution as drought treatment. PEG 10% is appropriate for drought treatment. Experiment using factorial random complete design with eight national varieties, Badak, Gajah, Jerapah, Kelinci, Komodo, Macan, Panther, Singa, and PEG solution. Minimum water uptake for germination is obtained from proportion between seedling weight to seed weight with seed weight. Root length, number of lateral root and seedling dry weight (without cotyledon) are counted on seventh day after germination. Seed germinated using UKDdp method. ANOVA two way for water uptake variable, ANOVA one way for root length and number of lateral root and seedling dry weight (without cotyledon) is used to analyze data, continue with DMRT and Pearson product moment correlation between minimum water uptake for germination and root length, seedling dry weight (without cotyledon). And Spearman correlation is used between minimum water uptakes for germination with number of lateral root. The results base on this research are, drought tolerance characterization of peanut national variety could evaluate on germination phase simulated by 10% PEG 6000 solution. (2) Minimum water uptake for peanut seed germination could be use as determine character to drought (3) Base on minimum water uptake for germination, Gajah and Panther grouped as drought tolerance varieties, Macan, Jerapah, Singa and Badak as medium tolerance varieties, and Komodo and kelinci as susceptible varieties.(4) In peanut, root length, number of lateral root and seedling dry weight (without cotyledon) can not be use as determine character to drought on germination phase

Based on this reason, the authors conducted research on tutorial focused to improvement the studentsabilities in Pengantar Statistika I dan II by using explorative discussion that emphasizes on the metacognitive knowledge level. The subjects are S1-PGSD students at second semester in Sidoarjo. The research is conducted in two cycles and shown that the use of the explorative discussion method that emphasizes on the metacognitive knowledge level is able to increase of the students understanding and independence

    Universitas Terbuka (UT) was implementing the centralized distribution of learning material, it is not considered efficient. Therefore, the decentralized distribution system which requires warehouses at certain regional offices will be proposed. The aims of this research are (1) investigating the decentralized learning material distribution model, (2) choosing the optimal location of warehouses to minimize the cost of learning material distribution, (3) choosing the regional offices which will be served optimally by each warehouse, (4) comparing efficiency of the centralized and decentralized learning material distribution system. The distribution problem is modeled as a linear mixed integer programming problem. The model will be solved using Branch and Bound method. This study considers centralized learning material distribution system and two alternative of decentralized learning material distribution systems, which are alternative 1 and alternative 2. It is found that in 2008 the cost of the alternative 2 is lower than the centralized learning distribution system. Besides, if the demand of learning material is increasing, the alternative 2 is still less costly than the other systems
