Solución de comunicaciones unificadas, mediante la plataforma Microsoft Lync que permita integrar el servicio de telefonía IP, el sistema de videoconferencias MCU, mensajería instantánea y presencia online, con los servicios de comunicación que actualmente se encuentran en funcionamiento en la Universidad Técnica del Norte

Diseñar una solución de comunicaciones unificadas, mediante la plataforma Microsoft Lync que permita integrar el servicio de telefonía IP con el sistema de videoconferencias MCU, mensajería instantánea y presencia online, con los servicios de comunicación que actualmente se encuentran en funcionamiento en la Universidad Técnica del Norte.En este proyecto se presenta una ¿Solución de Comunicaciones Unificadas, mediante la plataforma Microsoft Lync que integre el servicio de Telefonía con el Sistema de Videoconferencias MCU, Mensajería Instantánea y Presencia Online, con los servicios de comunicación que actualmente se encuentran en funcionamiento en la Universidad Técnica del Norte¿. El primer capítulo contiene todo lo referente al proyecto, la problemática, objetivos, alcance y justificación. Dentro del segundo capítulo se encuentra toda la fundamentación teórica necesaria sobre tecnologías, términos y equipos que se utilizará en el diseño de la solución de comunicación unificada mediante la plataforma de Microsoft Lync. El capítulo número tres contiene un estudio de la situación actual de los servicios de comunicación que se brida en la Universidad Técnica del Norte, un análisis tanto de hardware como de software necesarios para lograr una solución de comunicaciones unificadas, y finalmente el diseño de la solución de comunicaciones unificadas. En el cuarto capítulo se encuentran las pruebas de funcionamiento, se muestra un ambiente que representa la red de la Universidad Técnica del Norte y se ha instalado la solución planteada. De esta manera se muestra los resultados de la solución de comunicaciones unificadas mediante la plataforma Microsoft Lync. El quinto capítulo es un análisis costo-beneficio del proyecto, éste tiene la finalidad de determinar qué tan factible es la implementación de esta integración. El sexto y último capítulo contiene las conclusiones obtenidas durante este trabajo de investigación y recomendaciones a tomar en cuenta durante la elaboración de esta solución de integración. Agregado a esto se tiene los anexos correspondientes a instalaciones y configuraciones de software y hardware utilizados dentro de la solución de comunicaciones unificadas en la Universidad Técnica del Norte

"This toxicological profile for perfluoroalkyls was prepared consistent with guidelines developed by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the preparation of toxicological profiles. The original guidelines were published in the Federal Register on April 17, 1987. While Perfluoroalkyls are not found on the ATSDR list of Priority Hazardous Substances, ATSDR has determined that a profile for these substances was necessary because data indicate that some perfluoroalkyls are found in the blood of the U.S. general population and in the environment. Toxic Substances Registry System. Index of Material Safety Data Sheets

The October 1994 revision of the KSC Toxic Substances Registry System (TSRS) Material Safety Data Sheets (MSD's) is presented. The listed MSD's which were submitted to the TSRS are maintained by the Base Operations Contractors of the Biomedical Operations and Research Office of KSC. The purpose of the index is to provide a means of accessing information on the hazards associated with the toxic and otherwise hazardous chemicals stored and used at KSC. Sources for the history of sport in Britain: A bibliographical compilation and analysis with particular reference to the problems of bibliographical control

The purpose of this study is to identify, discuss the merits of, list and analyse the bibliographical control of secondary and selected primary sources for the history of sport in Britain. The Introduction sets sport in its social setting, traces the emergence of sports history as a field of study, identifies historiographical trends and barriers to progress. Following a review of the literature, it is concluded that a major barrier to research and improved scholarship is a perceived lack and awareness of source material. Part A identifies both primary and secondary sources for the sports historian, both in general terms and in relation to specific areas of research and topics of investigation. This includes detailed discussions of their merits, problems associated with their use, identification and location. The need is stressed for a comprehensive bibliography of secondary works and a listing of manuscript material. Part B attempts to document all secondary sources (monographs, periodical articles, conference papers, chapters in books, festschriften, theses, and typescripts, including reference works), on the history of sport and physical education in Britain published in the English language, in a classified order designed to meet the needs of the sports historian and all those otherwise interested in the development of sport in Britain and its literature. Part C attempts to index sporting manuscripts held in public record offices and by national governing bodies of sport. An overview describes problems experienced by the author during the course of the study and analyses the effectiveness of existing bibliographical control in efficient literature searching. This thesis concludes that whilst sporting records have been sadly neglected by the sporting bodies, by professional archivists and in librarians' divisions of human knowledge, considerable source material of value to the sports historian does exist but that this is scattered and fragmented. Existing bibliographical sources do not serve the interests of the researcher in sports history well. For sport, as perhaps for several other 'low status', multi-disciplinary subject areas, the most efficient strategy for comprehensive literature searching within the existing bibliographical network is to start with the most extensive 'form' bibliographies and to then eliminate unwanted items

The IRAS radiation environment

Orbital flux integration for three selected mission altitudes and geographic instantaneous flux-mapping for nominal flight-path altitude were used to determine the external charged particle radiation predicted for the Infrared Astronomy Satellite. A current field model was used for magnetic field definitions for three nominal circular trajectories and for the geographic mapping positions. Innovative analysis features introduced include (1) positional fluxes as a function of time and energy for the most severe pass through the South Atlantic Anomaly; (2) total positional doses as a function of time and shield thickness; (3) comparison mapping fluxes for ratios of positional intensities to orbit integrated averages; and (4) statistical exposure-time history of a trajectory as a function of energy indicating, in percent of total mission duration, the time intervals over which the instantaneous fluxes would exceed the orbit integrated averages. Results are presented in tables and graphs
