    PENGEMBANGAN E-BOOK “MENGENAL SEJARAH DI SEKELILING KITA” UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SEJARAH DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    Penelitian dengan menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) melalui model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian ini berupaya mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran berupa e-book dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam mempelajari sejarah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, kuesioner dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa angket yang diberikan pada validator dan angket uji kelayakan yang diberikan pada guru, serta pretest dan posttest yang diberikan pada siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk melihat tingkat kelayakan media. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di sekolah dasar SD Islam Plus Al Kayyis yang berada di Kamulyan, Bantarsari, Cilacap dengan subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari validator materi, validator media, guru atau pendidik, dan siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 13 orang memperlihatkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi sangat valid, dari ahli media kategori sangat valid, dan hasil uji kelayakan e-book sangat layak. Serta hasil pretest menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 56,00 dan pada saat posttest menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 91,50 yang berarti terdapat peningkatan minat belajar. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa media e-book ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar sejarah siswa sekolah dasar dalam mempelajari sejarah. Research using the R&D method (Research and Development) through the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research seeks to develop a learning media in the form of e-books with the aim of increasing students' interest in studying history. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaires and tests. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires given to validators and due diligence questionnaires given to teachers, as wellpretest and posttest given to students. Data analysis was carried out in a quantitative descriptive manner to see the feasibility level of the media. The results of research conducted at SD Islam Plus Al Kayyis elementary school in Kamulyan, Bantarsari, Cilacap with research subjects consisting of material validators, media validators, teachers or educators, and 13 grade IV students show the results of validation from material experts very valid, from media experts the category is very valid, and the results of the due diligence e-books very worth it. As well as results pretest shows the average value of students at 56.00 and at the time posttest shows an average student score of 91.50 which means there is an increase in learning interest. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the media e-books This is very suitable for use as a learning medium in schools to increase interest in learning history for elementary school students in studying history

    Ready, Set, Jump - An Interactive eBook Designed to Awaken the Aspirations of Primary School Students

    The Commonwealth government and the university sector have acknowledged the low participation rate of students from low socio-economic status (SES) backgrounds in post-school education and training. Various strategies and approaches have been developed over time to increase the number of students from this group participating in tertiary education, with varied success. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the development of an educational electronic book (eBook) which is being used as a tool in the My Tertiary Education Day (MyTED) program. The program encourages primary aged students to consider tertiary education opportunities through the use of the eBook titled “Ready, Set, Jump”. By leveraging the positive learning outcomes that can be achieved through the interaction with multimedia teaching content combined with a compelling story and an appealing design, the MyTED eBook encourages students to think about their aspirations. During the MyTED program the ways in which an eBook containing a story about aspirations can encourage primary school students to aspire to participate in tertiary education is investigated. The eBook encourages children to reflect critically on their aspirations, work individually and collectively on interactive activities, critique a series of videos and develop an affinity towards digital literacy
