The proliferation of video data in retail marketing brings opportunities for researchers to study customer behavior using rich video information. Our study demonstrates how to understand customer behavior of multiple dimensions using video analytics on a scalable basis. We obtained a unique video footage data collected from in-store cameras, resulting in approximately 20,000 customers involved and over 6,000 payments recorded. We extracted features on the demographics, appearance, emotion, and contextual dimensions of customer behavior from the video with state-of-the-art computer vision techniques and proposed a novel framework using machine learning and deep learning models to predict consumer purchase decision. Results showed that our framework makes accurate predictions which indicate the importance of incorporating emotional response into prediction. Our findings reveal multi-dimensional drivers of purchase decision and provide an implementable video analytics tool for marketers. It shows possibility of involving personalized recommendations that would potentially integrate our framework into omnichannel landscape

With advancements in technology and the increasing availability of data, there is a growing interest in leveraging intelligent learning models to enhance the educational experience and improve learning outcomes. The construction of intelligent learning models, supported by knowledge graphs, has emerged as a promising approach to revolutionizing the field of education. With the vast number of educational resources and data available, knowledge graphs provide a structured and interconnected representation of knowledge, enabling intelligent systems to leverage this wealth of information. This paper aimed to construct an effective automated Intelligent Learning Model with the integration of Knowledge Graphs. The automated intelligent model comprises the directional data clustering (DDC) integrated with the Voting based Integrated effective Feature Selection model through the LSTM-integrated Grasshopper Algorithm (LSTM_GOA). The data for analysis is collected from educational institutions in China. Through the framed LSTM_GOA model the performance is evaluated fro the analysis of the student educational performance. The simulation analysis expressed that the developed model exhibits a higher classification performance compared with the conventional technique in terms of accuracy and Mean Square Error (MSE)

Human-Centered Collective Intelligence (HCCI) is an emergent research area that seeks to bring together major research areas like machine learning, statistical modeling, information retrieval, market research, and software engineering to address challenges pertaining to deriving intelligent insights and solutions through the collaboration of several intelligent sensors, devices and data sources. An archetypal contextual CI scenario might be concerned with deriving affect-driven intelligence through multimodal emotion detection sources in a bid to determine the likability of one movie trailer over another. On the other hand, the key tenets to designing robust and evolutionary software and infrastructure architecture models to address cross-cutting quality concerns is of keen interest in the “Cloud” age of today. Some of the key quality concerns of interest in CI scenarios span the gamut of security and privacy, scalability, performance, fault-tolerance, and reliability. I present recent advances in CI system design with a focus on highlighting optimal solutions for the aforementioned cross-cutting concerns. I also describe a number of design challenges and a framework that I have determined to be critical to designing CI systems. With inspiration from machine learning, computational advertising, ubiquitous computing, and sociable robotics, this literature incorporates theories and concepts from various viewpoints to empower the collective intelligence engine, ZOEI, to discover affective state and emotional intent across multiple mediums. The discerned affective state is used in recommender systems among others to support content personalization. I dive into the design of optimal architectures that allow humans and intelligent systems to work collectively to solve complex problems. I present an evaluation of various studies that leverage the ZOEI framework to design collective intelligence

In today's society, individuals face unprecedented levels of stress, with varying indicators and effects. Music has long been recognized for its calming effects on the brain and body, especially slow and calm classical music, which can lower heart rate, blood pressure, and stress hormone levels. However, the effectiveness of music in stress management may be reduced if the music does not match the listener's current emotional state. To overcome this problem, this research aims to develop an emotion-based stress reduction recommendation tool using machine learning. This research employs experimental methods. The research results show this tool will analyze the user's emotions and recommend music most likely to reduce stress. By tailoring music recommendations to an individual's emotional state, we hope to increase the overall effectiveness of music as a stress management tool. Implications of this research include the potential for creating intelligent music players that provide more personalized and effective stress reduction
