    Get PDF
In this paper, Adomian decomposition method (ADM) and homotopy analysis method (HAM) are proposed to solving the fuzzy nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integral equation of the second kind(FVFIE2)(FVFIE-2). we convert a fuzzy nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integral equation to a nonlinear system of Volterra-Fredholm integral equation in crisp case. we use ADM , HAM and find the approximate solution of this system and hence obtain an approximation for fuzzy solution of the nonlinear fuzzy Volterra-Fredholm integral equation. Also, the existence and uniqueness of the solution and convergence of the proposed methods are proved. Examples is given and the results reveal that homotopy analysis method is very effective and simple compared with the Adomian decomposition method

    Get PDF
In this study, Akbari-Ganji’s Method (AGM) was applied to solve Volterra Integro-Differential Difference Equations (VIDDE) using Legendre polynomials as basis functions. Here, a trial solution function of unknown constants that conform with the differential equations together with the initial conditions were assumed and substituted into the equations under consideration. The unknown coefficients are solved for using the new proposed approach, AGM which principally involves the application of the boundary conditions on successive derivatives and integrals of the problem to obtain a system of equations. The system of equation is solved using any appropriate computer software, Maple 18. Some examples were solved and the results compared to the exact solutions

In this study, a new technique is considered for solving linear fractional Volterra-Fredholm integro-differential equations (LFVFIDE's) with fractional derivative qualified in the Caputo sense. The method is established in three types of Lagrange polynomials (LP’s), Original Lagrange polynomial (OLP), Barycentric Lagrange polynomial (BLP), and Modified Lagrange polynomial (MLP). General Algorithm is suggested and examples are included to get the best effectiveness, and implementation of these types. Also, as special case fractional differential equation is taken to evaluate the validity of the proposed method. Finally, a comparison between the proposed method and other methods are taken to present the effectiveness of the proposal method in solving these problems

A hybrid functions method for solving linear and non-linear systems of ordinary differential equations

    Get PDF
In the present paper, we use a hybrid method to solve linear or non-linear systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). By using this method, these systems are reduced to a linear or non-linear system of algebraic equations. In error discussion of the suggested method, an upper bound of the error is obtained. Also, to survey the accuracy and the efficiency of the present method, some examples are solved and comparisons between the obtained results with those of several other methods are carried out

This study is concerned by the Collocation method for solving Volterra integral equations form of the Lane-Emden type numerically through the so-called Touchard polynomials, which are essentially binomial polynomials. Where the system of miniature linear equations is solved numerically using the MATALEB program. Then some examples are presented to verify the reliability and effectiveness of the method in addition to the speed of its convergence

A New Modification of Adomian Decomposition Method for Volterra Integral Equations of the Second Kind

    Get PDF
We propose a new modification of the Adomian decomposition method for Volterra integral equations of the second kind. By the Taylor expansion of the components apart from the zeroth term of the Adomian series solution, this new technology overcomes the problems arising from the previous decomposition method. The validity and applicability of the new technique are illustrated through several linear and nonlinear equations by comparing with the standard decomposition method and the modified decomposition method. The results obtained indicate that the new modification is effective and promising
