A Method for Planning the Transportation Route of Fresh Agricultural Products Based on Ant Colony Algorithm

    Get PDF
The current fresh agricultural product transportation route planning matrix is generally set in a single form, resulting in low path planning efficiency and increased path transportation time. Therefore, the design and analysis of a fresh agricultural product transportation route planning method based on the ant colony algorithm is proposed in this paper. The optimal path problem and planning nodes are described based on actual planning needs and standards. A multi-objective form is adopted to improve path planning efficiency, and a multi-objective optimal planning matrix and ant colony calculation line planning model are designed. Based on this, path planning processing is implemented using time and space route correction. The test results show that compared to the traditional CiteSpace fresh agricultural product transportation route planning test group and the traditional improved genetic algorithm fresh agricultural product transportation route planning test group, a better control of the path transportation time within 150 minutes is achieved by the ant colony algorithm fresh agricultural product transportation route planning test group designed this time. This indicates that the designed transportation route is considered the optimal route. Furthermore, after research, it was found that the arrival times of the six selected delivery points were all before the expected earliest arrival time, suggesting that this planning method has greater effectiveness and practical application value

The core concept is the combination of "material and informationization." In the supply chain and manufacturing process, the "material" of the physical entity world is realized by data, identity, intelligence, and information. Industry 4.0 is a disruptive transformation and upgrade of intelligent industrialization based on the Internet-of-Things and Big Data in traditional industrialization. The goal is “maximizing production efficiency, minimizing production costs, and maximizing the individual needs of human beings for products and services.” Achieving this goal will surely bring about a major leap in the history of the industry, which will lead to the "Fourth Industrial Revolution.” This paper presents a detailed discussion of industrial big data, strategic roles, architectures, characteristics, and four types of innovative business models that can generate profits for enterprises. The key revolutionary aspect of Industry 4.0 is explained, which is the equipment revolution. Six important attributes of equipment are explained under the Industry 4.0 perspective.Authors would like to thank deanship of scientific research (DSR) at umm Al-Qura University for their partial funding the work (Grant# 17-COM-1-01-0007)

Current Situation of and Countermeasures for the Development of Rural Informatization in China

    Get PDF
Over the past three decades, informatization in China’s rural areas has gained some achievements in several aspects including the development of informational environment, the construction of infrastructure, information resources and the basic service system, as well as the application of information technology. Despite all the aforementioned achievements, some problems regarding organization and management, capital investment, talent cultivation, and farmers’ consciousness of informatization remain to be solved. Based on the status quo of the development of rural informatization in China, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures to tackle the existing problems and these measures include actively engaging in the innovation of the system and mechanism, in the optimization of the rural information resources, in the improvement of the rural information service system, and in the pilot demonstration project and in the promotion of typical cases

English language education policy in China : a CDA and ethnographic study

    Get PDF
IPhD ThesisDespite the growing stream of literature about English language education in China, there has been relatively little discussion of primary English language education. Past research has focused almost exclusively on secondary and tertiary English education. This research seeks to address this gap by examining primary English education policy. More specifically, this research provides insights into the extent to which each instance of language policy and planning can be seen as a product of its specific context. This thesis is based on an ethnographic study conducted in local education bureaus and three primary schools in Yulin, a Northwestern Chinese city with 3 million people. Drawing on critical discourse analysis (CDA) of political discourse(s), ethnographic field notes, questionnaires, interviews and classroom observation, this study investigates the influence of macro and micro levels of policy actors in disseminating and implementing the language policy. It also evaluates the apparent match and mismatch between macro policy and micro levels of practice within the local language policy and planning context. As such, I offer a lens for studying primary English education policy in China. The combination of critical discourse analysis (CDA) and ethnography represents a methodological contribution of this research and is used as a way of seeing if there are gaps between policy and practice; and, if so, what kind(s)? Thus, the main contribution of this study to the literature on language education policy is a framework for analyzing the interaction between policy and practice. This framework combines CDA and ethnography. CDA is used to try and identify underlying ideology and power relations in politically determined educational discourse, whereas the ethnographic part of the study is used to examine and interpret the implementation of policy among local education officials and teachers. Additionally, this research extends the current literature on English education policy by identifying that a lack of communication between macro and micro policy actors is a significant reason behind poor English language education quality. On the surface, local officials and teachers follow the instructions in the political discourse, due to a somewhat rigid hierarchical structure of Chinese society. In some aspects, though, local officials and teachers might veer away from, abandon or even change policy consciously or unconsciously in their daily routines and classes. Importantly, the findings presented in this thesis try to bridge the research on language education policy and teaching and content and methods
