In this Information System of Personnel applied the method of Promethee (The PreferenceRanking Organization Method for Enrichment of Evaluations), which is one method of determining theorder or priority in MCDM (Multi Criterion Decision Making). The application of this method is usedto generate a Ranking List of Departures, with successive criteria of rank, position, occupationaltraining, education, employment and Age. In developing the Human Resources Information Systembased on the website used Waterfall software development method according to Ian Sommerville in2011 with stages, requirements definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing,integration and system setting and operation and maintenance. The software used in building thiswebsite is Netbeans, SQLyog and XAMPP. This Information System can run well as has been doneblackbox testing on this information system. VIRTUE : integrating CFD ship design
Novel ship concepts, increasing size and speed, and strong competition in the global maritime market require that a ship's hydrodynamic performance be studied at the highest level of sophistication. All hydrodynamic aspects need to be considered so as to optimize trade-offs between resistance, propulsion (and cavitation), seakeeping or manoeuvring. VIRTUE takes a holistic approach to hydrodynamic design and focuses on integrating advanced CFD tools in a software platform that can control and launch multi-objective hydrodynamic design projects. In this paper current practice, future requirements and a potential software integration platform are presented. The necessity of parametric modelling as a means of effectively generating and efficiently varying geometry, and the added-value of advanced visualization, is discussed. An illustrating example is given as a test case, a container carrier investigation, and the requirements and a proposed architecture for the platform are outlined
1992 NASA Life Support Systems Analysis workshop
The 1992 Life Support Systems Analysis Workshop was sponsored by NASA's Office of Aeronautics and Space Technology (OAST) to integrate the inputs from, disseminate information to, and foster communication among NASA, industry, and academic specialists. The workshop continued discussion and definition of key issues identified in the 1991 workshop, including: (1) modeling and experimental validation; (2) definition of systems analysis evaluation criteria; (3) integration of modeling at multiple levels; and (4) assessment of process control modeling approaches. Through both the 1991 and 1992 workshops, NASA has continued to seek input from industry and university chemical process modeling and analysis experts, and to introduce and apply new systems analysis approaches to life support systems. The workshop included technical presentations, discussions, and interactive planning, with sufficient time allocated for discussion of both technology status and technology development recommendations. Key personnel currently involved with life support technology developments from NASA, industry, and academia provided input to the status and priorities of current and future systems analysis methods and requirements
Optimization as a design strategy. Considerations based on building simulation-assisted experiments about problem decomposition
In this article the most fundamental decomposition-based optimization method
- block coordinate search, based on the sequential decomposition of problems in
subproblems - and building performance simulation programs are used to reason
about a building design process at micro-urban scale and strategies are defined
to make the search more efficient. Cyclic overlapping block coordinate search
is here considered in its double nature of optimization method and surrogate
model (and metaphore) of a sequential design process. Heuristic indicators apt
to support the design of search structures suited to that method are developed
from building-simulation-assisted computational experiments, aimed to choose
the form and position of a small building in a plot. Those indicators link the
sharing of structure between subspaces ("commonality") to recursive
recombination, measured as freshness of the search wake and novelty of the
search moves. The aim of these indicators is to measure the relative
effectiveness of decomposition-based design moves and create efficient block
searches. Implications of a possible use of these indicators in genetic

Ergonomic Chair Design by Fusing Qualitative and Quantitative Criteria using Interactive Genetic Algorithms
This paper emphasizes the necessity of formally bringing qualitative and
quantitative criteria of ergonomic design together, and provides a novel
complementary design framework with this aim. Within this framework, different
design criteria are viewed as optimization objectives; and design solutions are
iteratively improved through the cooperative efforts of computer and user. The
framework is rooted in multi-objective optimization, genetic algorithms and
interactive user evaluation. Three different algorithms based on the framework
are developed, and tested with an ergonomic chair design problem. The parallel
and multi-objective approaches show promising results in fitness convergence,
design diversity and user satisfaction metrics
