    Development of OCIPSE Learning Model to Increase Students' Scientific Creativity in Natural Science Learning

    This Research & Development (R & D) has the main goal to develop and produce OCIPSE learning model. The main product of this research is the OCIPSE learning model with five phases, they are 1) Orient and organize the students for study; 2) Collaborative Investigation; 3) Presentation and discussion; 4) Strengthening of scientific creativity; and 5) Evaluate and provide recognition. The OCIPSE learning model' quality data is obtained through an expert validation process by using the OCIPSE learning model Qualification Assessment Instrument. The OCIPSE learning model quality analysis used an average validity score, single measures ICC, and Cronbach's coefficient alpha. The result of the research shows OCIPSE learning model with average content validity (3.69), construct validity (3.69), with the validity of each aspect statistically in (rα = .92) and reliability in (α = .87).  The results of this study indicate that the developed OCIPSE learning model was declared qualified by experts. The research implication is that a qualified OCIPSE learning model can be used to enhance the scientific creativity of junior high school students in natural science learning.&nbsp

    PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X PADA KONSEP PENANGANAN LIMBAH

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap partisipasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada konsep penanganan limbah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan “one group pretest dan postest design”. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas X MIA 5 tahun ajaran 2013-2014. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berbentuk tes dan nontes, instrumen tes berupa soal objektif (pilihan ganda) 18 soal yang memenuhi kriteria hasil uji coba instrumen yaitu 16,6% mudah, 55,5% sedang dan 33,3% sukar. Instrumen tes diberikan pada saat pretest dan postest. Instrumen nontes berupa tabel skala sikap, lembar observasi psikomotor, lembar penilaian produk, angket respon siswa dan lembar observasi guru yang diberikan pada saat pembelajaran. Nilai rata-rata hasil pretest sebesar 50,98, rata-rata hasil postest 70,18 dengan peningkatan (N-gain) sebesar 0,41 dengan kriteria peningkatan sedang. Hasil penghitungan statistik untuk tes kognitif yang menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 9,27 > 2,567 maka hipotesis signifikan dengan tingkat kepercayaan 99% (0,01). Nilai aktivitas belajar siswa rata-rata 79,9% memiliki kriteria baik, aspek psikomotor siswa rata-rata 88,6% memiliki kriteria sangat baik, dan penilaian produk yang dibuat oleh siswa rata-rata 74% dengan kriteria baik. Respon siswa selama proses pembelajaran memiliki rata-rata 3,93 dengan kriteria sangat baik (positif) terhadap pembelajaran, sedangkan aktivitas guru selama melaksanakan pembelajaran memiliki rata-rata 91,85% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada konsep penanganan limbah dengan kriteria peningkatan sedang. Penulis menyarankan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat digunakan pada materi yang lainnya, kemudia pada saat pembelajaran guru harus lebih menekankan materi pembelajaran yang bersangkutan kepada siswa, sehingga pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran tertentu akan lebih meningkat dengan baik.     PENGGUNAAN MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TYPE PICTURE AND PICTURE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS MATERI PERKEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS pada materi perkembangan teknologi melalui model picture and picture. Model picture and picture adalah suatu model pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media gambar. Dalam operasionalnya, gambar-gambar tersebut dipasangkan satu sama lain atau diurutkan menjadi urutan yang logis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan sistem siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, analisis dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dan menerapkan model pembelajaran picture and picture yang terdiri dari 6 fase, yaitu stimulus atau pemberian rangsangan, pernyataan atau identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, pembuktian, menarik kesimpulan atau generalisasi. Penilaian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik, penilaian aktivitas dan lembar observasi untuk mengetahui kegiatan guru dan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari penilaian motivasi dan hasil tes belajar. Pada penilaian motivasi nilai rata-rata siklus I yaitu 75 sedangkan siklus II mencapai nilai rata-rata 83. Hasil belajar siklus I pada pretes nilai rata-rata yaitu 58 sedangkan post tes nilai rata-ratanya 68, dan hasil belajar siklus II pada pretes nilai rata-ratanya 68 sedangkan pada post tes nilai rata-ratanya 78. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa model pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS pada materi perkembangan teknologi di kelas IV SDN Kopo Elok Bandung.     This research is classroom action research which aims to improve the learning process and the result of learning mathematics by applying Discovery Learning (DL) model. The subject of this research were the second semester students of class X MIA 5 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017 consisting of 13 male and 17 female students. Instruments on this reserach constisted of syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets; and instruments of data collection which is observation sheets and the test result sheets. The function of observation sheet is to obtain data from the learning process and analyzed in a narrative descriptive, while the function of results sheet of the mathematics learning tests is to obtain the results of the study and analyzed in statistics descriptive. From narrative descriptive analysis can be seen that there was improvement of learning process from before action in cycle I to cycle II. From statistic deskriptive analysis can be seen an increase in the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning. The learning result of the student experience an increase from the basic score the Cycle I and Cycle II. On the knowledge competence, from the basic score with percentage 36,67% experience improvement in Cycle I with percentage 50% and 70% in Cycle II. On the skills competence, the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning from Cycle I with percentage 23.33% improve to 50% in cycle II. Based on the results of this research can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning (DL) model can improve the learning achievement of the second semester students of class X MIA 5 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017

    This research is a class action research. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics in grade X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru by applying the Discovery Learning model. The subject of this research were the students in the class X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru that consist of 19 boys and 21 girls at the second semester of academic year 2016/2017. Implementation of the learning process before held action, there is a problem of learning that is still focused on the teacher so that students can not find the concept of learning. To solve this problem requires a learning model where students can actively discover teir own learning concepts. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative, while the students\u27 mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. The descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles and improve the students\u27 achievement of learning mathematic in grade X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2016/2017

    This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of quantum learning model learning using instructional media to build the concept of good and bad through a system of civic education organization in the subject. This type of research is the development of media with a qualitative approach.     This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase the student's mathematics learning outcomes by applying Discovery Learning model. The subjects of this research are the student of class XI MIA 1 SMAN 8 Pekanbaru at second semester of academic years 2014/2015, which amounts to 35 students. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collected through observation and learning outcomes test. Data analysis is done by observation data analysis and student's mathematics learning outcomes data analysis. The action is successful if teacher's activities and student's activities increase in every meeting and the number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increases in every cycle. Observation data analysis showed that learning process in class XI MIA 1 SMAN 8 Pekanbaru has improved at each meeting. Student's mathematics learning outcomes data analysis show that student's mathematics learning increase before action and after action, that aims: (1) Amount students that reach behavior Minimum Mastery Criteria of confidence in base score is 25 students increase to 32 students at the first cycle and 35 students at the second cycle. For discipline, in base score is 29 students increase to 32 students at the first cycle and 34 students at the second cycle. For responsibility, in base score is 31 students at the first cycle and at the second cycle; (2) Amount students that reach knowledge Minimum Mastery Criteria in base score is 17 students increase to 22 students at the first cycle and 29 students at the second cycle; and (3) Amount students that reach skill Minimum Mastery Criteria in base score is 12 students increase to 16 students at the first cycle and 18 students at the second cycle. The result of this research showed that cooperative learning Discovery Learning model improve the learning process and increase the mathematics learning outcomes the students of class XI MIA 1 SMAN 8 Pekanbaru at second semester of academic years 2014/2015
