The Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian and CP-Violating Effects in Technicolor Theories
We estimate the CP-violating and anomalous form factors,
arising from CP-violating interactions in extended technicolor theories, and
discuss their future experimental detectability. The electric dipole moment of
the boson is found to be as large as {\cal O}(10^{-21}) \; \mbox{e cm}.
We connect the CP-odd and couplings to the corresponding
CP-violating electroweak chiral lagrangian operators. The electric dipole
moments of the neutron and the electron in technicolor theories are estimated
to be as large as {\cal O}(10^{-26}) \; \mbox{e cm} and {\cal O}(10^{-29})
\; \mbox{e cm} respectively. We also suggest the potential to observe large
CP-violating technicolor effects in the decay .Comment: 34 pages, YCTP-P9-94, LaTex. (minor changes in wording and notation,

Markov processes on the path space of the Gelfand-Tsetlin graph and on its boundary
We construct a four-parameter family of Markov processes on infinite
Gelfand-Tsetlin schemes that preserve the class of central (Gibbs) measures.
Any process in the family induces a Feller Markov process on the
infinite-dimensional boundary of the Gelfand-Tsetlin graph or, equivalently,
the space of extreme characters of the infinite-dimensional unitary group
U(infinity). The process has a unique invariant distribution which arises as
the decomposing measure in a natural problem of harmonic analysis on
U(infinity) posed in arXiv:math/0109193. As was shown in arXiv:math/0109194,
this measure can also be described as a determinantal point process with a
correlation kernel expressed through the Gauss hypergeometric function
A new integral formula for Heckman-Opdam hypergeometric functions
We provide Harish-Chandra type formulas for the multivariate Bessel functions
and Heckman-Opdam hypergeometric functions as representation-valued integrals
over dressing orbits. Our expression is the quasi-classical limit of the
realization of Macdonald polynomials as traces of intertwiners of quantum
groups given by Etingof-Kirillov Jr. Integration over the Liouville tori of the
Gelfand-Tsetlin integrable system and adjunction for higher Calogero-Moser
Hamiltonians recovers and gives a new proof of the integral realization over
Gelfand-Tsetlin polytopes which appeared in the recent work of Borodin-Gorin on
the beta-Jacobi corners ensemble.Comment: 30 pages. v4: corrected sign convention in definition of CM

Heavy Neutrinos and Lepton Flavour Violation in Left-Right Symmetric Models at the LHC
We discuss lepton flavour violating processes induced in the production and
decay of heavy right-handed neutrinos at the LHC. Such particles appear in
left-right symmetrical extensions of the Standard Model as the messengers of
neutrino mass generation, and can have masses at the TeV scale. We determine
the expected sensitivity on the right-handed neutrino mixing matrix, as well as
on the right-handed gauge boson and heavy neutrino masses. By comparing the
sensitivity of the LHC with that of searches for low energy LFV processes, we
identify favourable areas of the parameter space to explore the complementarity
between LFV at low and high energies.Comment: 34 pages, 16 figures, PRD versio
