This proposal aims to explain the volunteer project created at the restaurant called Mark\u27s at the Park, located at Mizner Park in Boca Raton with an understanding of Mark Militello the chef/owner of Mark\u27s at the Park and his branded restaurant chain of four. The proposal gives a detailed orientation of what Mark\u27s, as a restaurant is all about in re-creating corporate identity elements such as advertisements and menu inserts to help Mark\u27s profit from customers and appeal more to the public. From explaining the history of brands and advertising, to the future of new trends and going green, this proposal details every step it took to make this project happen

Emergence of Secondary Airports and Dynamics of Regional Airport Systems in the United States

With the growing demand for air transportation and limited capacity at major airports, there is a need to increase the capacity of airport systems at the metropolitan area level. The increased use of secondary airports has been and is expected to be one of the key mechanisms by which future demand is met in congested metropolitan areas. This thesis provides an analysis of the factors influencing the emergence of secondary airports and the dynamics of multi-airport systems. The congestion of the core airport, the distribution of population at the regional level, the existence and the proximity of a secondary basin of population close to secondary airports were identified as major factors. Ground access and airport infrastructure, the low level of connecting passengers at the core airport were also identified as a contributing factors. The entry of an air carrier –generally a low-cost carrier- was determined to be an essential stimulus in the emergence phenomenon impacting fares and airport competition levels resulting in market stimulation. But the emergence of secondary airports imposes new constraints that need to be taken into account in the national air transportation system improvements. By providing an identification of the factors that influence the emergence of secondary airports and an understanding of the dynamics of regional airport systems this research provides useful support for the planning and the future development of multi-airport systems.NASA Langley, NAG-1-203

Bloom's Filters : Their Types and Analysis

Bloom filtrelerini ve çeşitlerini inceleyen bir çalışmanın özetidir. Bloom filtresi sorgulama üyeliklerini desteklemek amacıyla setleri temsil eden rasgele bir veri yapısıdır. 1970’lerde daha çok veri tabanı optimizasyonlarında kullanılmıştır. Bu yakınlarda bilgisayar ağları ile ilgili çalışma yapanlar daha sık kullanmaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışmada filtrelerin çeşitleri analiz edilecektir.In this paper we discuss Bloom filter in its original form and the varieties of its extensions. A Bloom filter is a randomized data-structure for concisely representing a set in order to support approximate membership queries. Although it was devised in 1970 for the purpose of spell checking, it was seldom used except in database optimization. In recent years, it has been rediscovered by the networking community, and has become a key component in many networking systems applications. In this paper, we will examine and analyse the different types of this filter
