Web3.0 Security: Privacy Enhancing and Anonym Auditing in Blockchain-based Structures
The advent of Web 3.0, underpinned by blockchain technologies, promises to
transform the internet's landscape by empowering individuals with decentralized
control over their data. However, this evolution brings unique security
challenges that need to be addressed. This paper explores these complexities,
focusing on enhancing privacy and anonymous auditing within blockchain
structures. We present the architecture of Web 3.0 based on the blockchain,
providing a clear perspective on its workflow and security mechanisms. A
security protocol for Web 3.0 systems, employing privacy-preserving techniques
and anonymous auditing during runtime, is proposed. Key components of our
solution include the integration of privacy-enhancing techniques and the
utilization of Tor for anonymous auditing. We discuss related work and propose
a framework that meets these new security requirements. Lastly, we offer an
evaluation and comparison of our model to existing methods. This research
contributes towards the foundational understanding of Web 3.0's secure
structure and offers a pathway towards secure and privacy-preserving digital
interactions in this novel internet landscape
Efficient Attribute-Based Encryption with Privacy-Preserving Key Generation and Its Application in Industrial Cloud
Due to the rapid development of new technologies such as cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile Internet, the data volumes are exploding. Particularly, in the industrial field, a large amount of data is generated every day. How to manage and use industrial Big Data primely is a thorny challenge for every industrial enterprise manager. As an emerging form of service, cloud computing technology provides a good solution. It receives more and more attention and support due to its flexible configuration, on-demand purchase, and easy maintenance. Using cloud technology, enterprises get rid of the heavy data management work and concentrate on their main business. Although cloud technology has many advantages, there are still many problems in terms of security and privacy. To protect the confidentiality of the data, the mainstream solution is encrypting data before uploading. In order to achieve flexible access control to encrypted data, attribute-based encryption (ABE) is an outstanding candidate. At present, more and more applications are using ABE to ensure data security. However, the privacy protection issues during the key generation phase are not considered in the current ABE systems. That is to say, the key generation center (KGC) knows both of attributes and corresponding keys of each user. This problem is especially serious in the industrial big data scenario, because it will cause great damage to the business secrets of industrial enterprises. In this paper, we design a new ABE scheme that protects user\u27s privacy during key issuing. In our new scheme, we separate the functionality of attribute auditing and key generating to ensure that the KGC cannot know user\u27s attributes and that the attribute auditing center (AAC) cannot obtain the user\u27s secret key. This is ideal for many privacy-sensitive scenarios, such as industrial big data scenario
Anonymous certification for E-assessment opinion polls
Anonymous certification (AC) refers to cryptographic mechanisms in which users get certified from trusted issuers, with regard to some pre-defined user attributes, in order to produce presentation tokens. Such tokens satisfy service providers’ access policies, without revealing sensitive user information. AC systems are generally classified under two main different categories: (1) one-time show credentials that can be shown once for avoiding their originating user being traced from one transaction to another, and (2) multi-show credentials that can be used many times while avoiding their originating user to be traced. In this paper, we consider e-assessment opinion polls scenarios and propose an AC scheme where the one-time show property is relevant for making sure each user cannot hand in more than one poll in order to get significant results. To mitigate cheating, the scheme is provided with two extra procedures: attribute revocation and anonymity removal. The correctness of our scheme, as well as unforgeability, privacy and anonymity removal, are analyzed and demonstrated
Enhancing Auction Systems with Blockchain Technology
This research paper examines the use of blockchain technology in auction systems. Traditional auction systems face issues related to trust, transparency, and security. Blockchain offers a decentralized and immutable solution that can enhance the efficiency, security, and transparency of auctions. The paper provides an overview of blockchain technology and identifies the challenges in traditional auctions that blockchain can address. It explores existing blockchain-based auction systems and evaluates their effectiveness in mitigating issues such as bid manipulation and fraud. The impact of blockchain on auction participants is also discussed, including benefits like increased trust and reduced transaction costs, as well as challenges related to adoption and scalability. The paper considers both theoretical and practical aspects, analyzing case studies and implementation challenges. It concludes by summarizing the key findings and suggesting future research directions to advance the application of blockchain in auction systems. The auction contract allows users to place bids and determine the highest bidder within a specified time period. The contract also provides functionality for canceling the auction and finalizing it by transferring the funds to the appropriate recipients

Cyberattacks and security of cloud computing: a complete guideline
Cloud computing is an innovative technique that offers shared resources for stock cache and server management. Cloud computing saves time and monitoring costs for any organization and turns technological solutions for large-scale systems into server-to-service frameworks. However, just like any other technology, cloud computing opens up many forms of security threats and problems. In this work, we focus on discussing different cloud models and cloud services, respectively. Next, we discuss the security trends in the cloud models. Taking these security trends into account, we move to security problems, including data breaches, data confidentiality, data access controllability, authentication, inadequate diligence, phishing, key exposure, auditing, privacy preservability, and cloud-assisted IoT applications. We then propose security attacks and countermeasures specifically for the different cloud models based on the security trends and problems. In the end, we pinpoint some of the futuristic directions and implications relevant to the security of cloud models. The future directions will help researchers in academia and industry work toward cloud computing security
A Review on Cloud Data Security Challenges and existing Countermeasures in Cloud Computing
Cloud computing (CC) is among the most rapidly evolving computer technologies. That is the required accessibility of network assets, mainly information storage with processing authority without the requirement for particular and direct user administration. CC is a collection of public and private data centers that provide a single platform for clients throughout the Internet. The growing volume of personal and sensitive information acquired through supervisory authorities demands the usage of the cloud not just for information storage and for data processing at cloud assets. Nevertheless, due to safety issues raised by recent data leaks, it is recommended that unprotected sensitive data not be sent to public clouds. This document provides a detailed appraisal of the research regarding data protection and privacy problems, data encrypting, and data obfuscation, including remedies for cloud data storage. The most up-to-date technologies and approaches for cloud data security are examined. This research also examines several current strategies for addressing cloud security concerns. The performance of each approach is then compared based on its characteristics, benefits, and shortcomings. Finally, go at a few active cloud storage data security study fields

Blockchain for Genomics:A Systematic Literature Review
Human genomic data carry unique information about an individual and offer
unprecedented opportunities for healthcare. The clinical interpretations
derived from large genomic datasets can greatly improve healthcare and pave the
way for personalized medicine. Sharing genomic datasets, however, pose major
challenges, as genomic data is different from traditional medical data,
indirectly revealing information about descendants and relatives of the data
owner and carrying valid information even after the owner passes away.
Therefore, stringent data ownership and control measures are required when
dealing with genomic data. In order to provide secure and accountable
infrastructure, blockchain technologies offer a promising alternative to
traditional distributed systems. Indeed, the research on blockchain-based
infrastructures tailored to genomics is on the rise. However, there is a lack
of a comprehensive literature review that summarizes the current
state-of-the-art methods in the applications of blockchain in genomics. In this
paper, we systematically look at the existing work both commercial and
academic, and discuss the major opportunities and challenges. Our study is
driven by five research questions that we aim to answer in our review. We also
present our projections of future research directions which we hope the
researchers interested in the area can benefit from
