Автором статті здійснено аналіз понятійно-термінологічного апарату дослідження проектування мультимедійних електронних освітніх ресурсів з мовних дисциплін на основі системи Moodle. Проаналізовано сутність понять на основі зарубіжної і вітчизняної науково-педагогічної літератури, тлумачних і спеціалізованих словників, нормативно-правових і законодавчих актів України: «мультимедійні технології навчання», «мультимедійні електронні освітні ресурси», «проектування мультимедійних електронних освітніх ресурсів з мовних дисциплін», «система управління навчанням Moodle» – і охарактеризовано їх зміст.The author of the article analyses the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the research designing multimedia electronic educational resources from language disciplines on the basis of the Moodle system. The model of linguistic teachers’ competency development on designing multimedia electronic educational resources in the Moodle system

Стаття присвячена проблемі розвитку компетентності викладачів мовних дисциплін щодо проектування мультимедійних електронних освітніх ресурсів у системі Moodle. Обґрунтовано і визначено поняття «компетентність викладачів мовних дисциплін щодо проектування мультимедійних електронних освітніх ресурсів у системі Moodle». Визначено й охарактеризовано компоненти і їх показники, за якими варто оцінювати рівні розвитку компетентності викладачів мовних дисциплін щодо проектування мультимедійних електронних освітніх ресурсів у системі Moodle. Розроблено модель розвитку компетентності викладачів мовних дисциплін щодо проектування мультимедійних електронних освітніх ресурсів у системі Moodle, яка базується на основних методологічних підходах, що використовуються в навчанні дорослих, і складається з п’яти блоків: цільовий, змістовий, технологічний, діагностичний та результативний.The article is devoted to the problem of developing the competency of teachers of language disciplines on designing multimedia electronic educational resources in the Moodle system. A FRAMEWORK FOR MAPPING MULTIMEDIA TO EDUCATIONAL CONCEPTS

Multimedia provides exciting opportunities to education as it allows educational material to be delivered in a multitude of ways, fine-tuned to enhance the learning experience. By using multimedia in e-learning systems, educational material can be presented in ways that both simplify and enhance learning. Increasingly, educational material developers are taking advantage of multimedia technology to deliver education but use multimedia in a variety of ways that are more based on intuition and personal experience and this often leads to the development of an ineffective learning material. Although there are not many main media prototypes (animation, images, video, text, audio), when examined at sub-prototype level, we find that there are many media types that can be used to present educational information. Given the number of available media sub-prototypes, the choice and mode of delivery of multimedia presents a problem in designing educational material. What media type or combination of types do we use for a given educational concept? What media combinations will improve learning for a particular educational concept? This paper presents a method for the selection of appropriate media for educational material and demonstrates how the method could be effectively used in the design of educational material, suitable for e-learning applications

Cultural matter in the development of an interactive multimedia self-paced educational health program for aboriginal health workers

Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander health workers are key providers of primary health services to Aboriginal communities especially in remote and rural areas. They are often overloaded with competing demands. There has been limited attention given to the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of their skills and knowledge following the completion of formal training. A culturally appropriated interactive multimedia self-paced health program as a mechanism to improve the accessibility and the use of scientific data and information for health purposes is proposed as a basic method for better supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary health care workers in their practice locations.
