Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvořit nový elektrochirurgický operační nástroj pro ambulantní hysteroskopii, který by nahradil sadu aktuálně používaných nástrojů, zkrátil dobu nutnou pro provedení zákroku a především umožnil snazší, přesnější a bezpečnější manipulaci a použití. Diplomovou práci lze rozdělit na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřena na charakteristiku gynekologických onemocnění, vyšetřovací techniky, minimálně invazivní chirurgii - hysteroskopii, včetně jejich rizik a aktuálně používaných nástrojů. Praktická část je rozdělená na čtyři kapitoly. První kapitola se zabývá návrhem mechanismu nového nástroje a návrhem vlastního tvaru a konstrukce nástroje. Druhá kapitola popisuje dimenzování rozměrů, výrobu prototypu nástroje, testování a měření potřebných parametrů. Design and FEM Analysis of the Laparoscopical Tool for Electrocoagulation Surgery - Alternative Solution I: Diploma Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Mechanics, 2012, 71 s. Thesis Head: Ing. Hlaváčková, Ph.D.
The goal of this thesis is design and construction of the electrosurgery instrument for office hysteroscopy, which would replace the current set of tools, shorten the time required to perform the procedure and make it easier, safer and more precise to use. Thesis can be divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of gynecologic disease, examination techniques, minimally invasive surgery - hysteroscopy, including their risks and current tools. The practical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with designing the mechanism of the new instrument and its own shape. The second chapter describes dimensions, manufacturing the prototype, testing and measurement of the required parameters. The third chapter deals with modifying already designed instrument with the knowledge gained from the manufacture, testing and measuring. The last chapter describes the finite element method strength analysis of the proposed instrument.337 - Katedra mechanikyvýborn
Endovascular photodynamic therapy to prevent arterial restenosis
__Abstract__
Since their existence, man has appreciated the benefits of sunlight and described some of
its medicinal effects known as heliotherapy. Herodotus in the 6th century BC noticed that
sunlight had beneficial effects on bone growth. Hippocrates in 460-375 BC advocated the use of
heliotherapy for various human maladies [1]. In 1898, McCall-Anderson described skin
photosensitivity due to porphyrin molecules [2]. In 1900, Raab using acridine orange described a
photochemical action that led to the killing of protozoa [3]. In 1901, the Dane Niels Rydberg
Finsen described the first scientific experiment in animals designated as phototherapy using light
from a carbon arc. Phototherapy was defined as the use of visible or near-visible light in the
treatment of disease [4]. He noticed that the use of ultraviolet light improved wound healing in
smallpox in animals and lupus vulgaris in men. These studies were appreciated with naming a
Medical Light Institute after him in Copenhagen and by awarding him the Nobel Prize for
Physiology-Medicine in 1903. The Danish Queen Alexandra introduced the technique into the
London Hospital in Whitechapel (now the Royal London Hospital) in 1904
Hepatic Surgery
Longmire, called it a "hostile" organ because it welcomes malignant cells and sepsis so warmly, bleeds so copiously, and is often the ?rst organ to be injured in blunt abdominal trauma. To balance these negative factors, the liver has two great attributes: its ability to regenerate after massive loss of substance, and its ability, in many cases, to forgive insult. This book covers a wide spectrum of topics including, history of liver surgery, surgical anatomy of the liver, techniques of liver resection, benign and malignant liver tumors, portal hypertension, and liver trauma. Some important topics were covered in more than one chapter like liver trauma, portal hypertension and pediatric liver tumors
