Towards Automated Invocation of Web APIs
This paper, targeting the large variety of Web APIs, presents an approach towards automated invocation of Web APIs. This approach applies a data schema, to the SAWSDL lowering schema mapping, a grounding mechanism that connects the ontological representations of Web APIs with their execution messages. It is intuitive to existing standard efforts and effective in coping with the heterogeneities witnessed by a majority of Web APIs
Semantic interoperability test method for data schema comparison with constrained application protocol
The main objective of this paper is to verify and propose schema compatibility as one of the main interoperability step for devices in the communication level of IoT system. The communication level requires two or more devices that are going to send or received data with each other to have the same data schema. We introduced a test scenario between the devices based on Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP). Then, we considered some scenarios like smart car, smart industry, smart home and smart city of data schema with different versions(core,V1.0,V2.0 and V3.0) of json structure and its comparison method whether they have the same data schema or not. We also proposed an algorithm for schema comparison and tested the processing time for the comparison of data schema
A temporal versioned object-oriented data schema model
AbstractThis paper describes in a formal way a data schema model which introduces temporal and versioning schema features in an object-oriented environment. In our model, the schema is time dependent and the history of the changes which occur on its elements are kept into version hierarchies. A fundamental assumption behind our approach is that a new schema specification should not define a new database, so that previous schema definitions are considered as alternative design specifications, and consequently, existing data can be accessed in a consistent way using any of the defined schemas
Relational Schema Protocol (RSP)
This document specifies the Relational Schema Protocol (RSP). RSP enables
loosely coupled applications to share and exchange relational data. It defines
fixed message format for an arbitrary relational schema so that the changes in
the data schema do not affect the message format. This prevents the interacting
applications from having to be reimplemented during the data schema evolvement.Comment: IETF Internet-Draf
Data Management with Flexible and Extensible Data Schema in CLANS
AbstractData Management plays an essential role in both research and industrial areas, especially for the fields need text processing, like business domain. Corporate Leaders Analytics and Network System (CLANS) is a system designed to identify and analyze social networks among corporations and business elites. It targets to tackle some of difficult problems such as natural language processing, network construction, relationship mining, and it requires high-quality management of data. For data management, we propose a novel approach by integrating the essential XML files and auxiliary databases, with a flexible and extensible data schema. This data schema is the kernel of our data management. It achieves plenty of superiorities, namely, separability, scalability, traceability, distinguishability, version control and maintainability. In this paper, we specifically illustrate the data schema as well as the management approach in CLANS
