    This paper focuses on the proposition of how to use the techniques of Planning in Artificial Intelligence in conjunction with Ontological Reasoning in t-learning environments, in order to i) achieve automating processes such as, the presentation and adaption of the Learning Objects or the educational applications (composed of Learning Object); ii) address the differences of terms and meanings that can occur between multiple viewers, finally, iii) allow the reuse of learning objects in different contexts.Este artículo se centra en proponer cómo utilizar las técnicas de planificación de inteligencia artificial en conjunto con el razonamiento ontológico en entornos t-learning, con el fin de: i) lograr automatizar procesos tales como la presentación y la adaptación de objetos de aprendizaje o de las aplicaciones educacionales (compuestas de objetos de aprendizaje); ii) abordar las diferencias de términos y significados (heterogeneidad semántica) que se pueden producir entre los múltiples espectadores, y iii) permitir la reutilización de los objetos de aprendizaje, en diferentes contextos

    Hauto: composición automática de servicios convergentes, basada en la planificación htn

    Este artículo presenta HAUTO, un framework que permite componer automáticamente servicios convergentes. HAUTO se basa en la planificación automática basada en redes jerárquicas de tareas HTN y se compone de tres módulos: un módulo de procesamiento de la solicitud, que transforma el lenguaje natural e información del contexto en una instancia de planificación, el módulo de composición automática basado en la planificación HTN; y el tercero, es el entorno de ejecución para servicios convergentes (Web y Telecom). La integración de un componente de planificación provee dos funcionalidades básicas: la posibilidad de personalizar la composición de los servicios usando la información del contexto del usuario y un middleware que se integra con la ejecución de los servicios en entornos de Telecomunicaciones de alto rendimiento. Finalmente, se presenta como caso de estudio un prototipo para la gestión de alertas ambientales tempranas.This paper presents HAUTO, a framework able to compose convergent services automatically. HAUTO is based in HTN (hierarchical task networks) Automated Planning and is composed of three modules: a request processing module that transforms natural language and context information into a planning instance, the automated composition module based on HTN planning and the execution environment for convergent (Web and telecom) services. The integration of a planning component provides two basic functionalities: the possibility of customizing the composition of services using the user context information and a middleware level that integrates the execution of services in high performance telecom environments. Finally, a prototype in environmental early warning management is presented as a test case

    Transaction Streams: Definition and Implications for Trust in Internet-Based Electronic Commerce.

    In this paper we analyze how transactions related to the exchange of goods and services are being performed on the Internet. The adoption of electronic markets in an industry has a disintermediation potential because it can create a direct link between the producer and the consumer (without the need for the intermediation role of distributors). Electronic markets lower the search cost, allowing customers to choose among more providers (which ultimately reduces both the costs for the customer and the profits for the producer). In this paper we contend that electronic markets on the Internet have the opposite effect, resulting in our increase in the number of intermediators. We introduce transaction streams, which model how transactions are being conducted and help explain the types of new intermediators that are appearing on the Internet. We also describe mechanisms by which companies are exploring ways of extending transaction streams. To illustrate the model and validate our findings, we analyze transaction streams in the insurance industry and review associated concepts such as trust and brands.transactions; electronic markets;
