    DIGITAL LITERACY AND ERP TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

    Even though the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technologies have been significantly addressed in managerial literature, few studies investigated the effects of digital literacy. This study aims to explore the relationship between digital literacy and ERP technology adoption in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), as well as the mediating effects of business innovativeness within that relationship. A valid and reliable structured survey has been prepared and delivered to companies in BiH which use ERP technologies. Based on the recent literature, first order structural equation model has been proposed and tested. The empirical data was based on 82 questionnaire responses from companies in BiH which use ERP technologies. Once the data has been collected, factory data analysis has been performed to purify scales through items' loadings and Cronbach's Alpha values. The resultant scales have been tested for convergent validity through partial least-square path modelling using Smart PLS 3 software. The results indicated that effects of digital literacy on actual system use are significant and positive, and that business innovativeness partially mediates the relationship

    The objective of this study is to design a framework for a causal relationship model of the Information and Communication Technology skills that affect the Technology Acceptance Process (TAP) for undergraduate students in the 21ST Century. This research uses correlational analysis. A consideration of the research methodology is divided into two sections. The first section involves a synthesis concept framework for process acceptance of the causal relationship model of the Information and Communication Technology skills that affect the Technology Acceptance Process for undergraduate students in the 21ST Century. The second section proposes the design concept framework of the model. The research findings are as follows: 1) The exogenous latent variables included in the causal relationship model of the Information and Communication Technology skills that affect the Technology Acceptance Process for undergraduate students in the 21ST Century are basic ICT skills and self-efficacy. 2) The mediating latent variables of the causal relationship model of the Information and Communication Technology skills that affect the Technology Acceptance Process for undergraduate students in the 21ST Century are from the TAM Model, these includes three components: 1) perceived usefulness, 2) perceived ease of use and 3) attitudes. 3) The outcome latent variable of the causal relationship model of the Information and Communication Technology skills that affect the Technology Acceptance Process for undergraduate students in the 21ST Century is behavioural intention

    Adoption of Electronic Health Record Systems Within Primary Care Practices

    Primary care physicians (PCPPs) have been slow to implement electronic health records (EHRs), even though there is a U.S. federal requirement to implement EHRs. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to determine why PCPPs have been slow to adopt electronic health record (EHR) systems despite the potential to increase efficiency and quality of health care. The complex adaptive systems theory (CAS) served as the conceptual framework for this study. Twenty-six PCPPs were interviewed from primary care practices (PCPs) based in southwestern Ohio. The data were collected through a semistructured interview format and analyzed using a modified van Kaam method. Several themes emerged as barriers to EHR implementation, including staff training on the new EHR system, the decrease in productivity experienced by primary care practice (PCP) staff adapting to the new EHR system, and system usability and technical support after adoption. The findings may contribute to the body of knowledge regarding EHR system implementation and assist healthcare providers who are slow to adopt EHRs. Additionally, findings could contribute to social change by reducing healthcare costs, increasing patient access to care, and improving the efficacy of patient diagnosis and treatment
