    Automated Multimode System Design for High Performance DSP Applications

    International audienceIn a mobile society, more and more devices need to continuously adapt to changing environments. Such mode switches can be smoothly done in software using a general purpose or digital signal processor. However hardware components are required to cope with throughput and power constraints. Reconfigurable hardware technologies like FPGA offer partial reconfiguration at run-time but require too long reconfiguration times to rapidly changing applications. In this paper we propose an automated design flow to implement multiple configuration and multi-constraint systems into a single circuit using conventional hardware technologies
