Study of Architecture Aspect of Creative Economy in Sustainable Tourism at Simanindo
The architecture aspect in the creative economy is to provide a unique environment that involves art, emotion, activity, and culture. The architecture aspect is helping the development of sustainable tourism. Because of that, it is crucial to study the architecture aspect of sustainable tourism. Simanindo District is one of the districts in the center of Toba Lake and has many potentials to develop its tourism. The research has aims to identify the architecture in a tourism and local community opinions. The research methods used are qualitative and quantitative or usually called the mixed method. The data collections are collected from 100 questionnaires, interviews with four interviewees, and observation, and then the result will be analyzed and explained using analyze descriptive method. The final result from this research is an assessment from local communities against the culinary aspect in three aspects in sustainable tourism, economy aspect, socio-culture aspect, and environmental aspect. The conclusions are opinions and perceptions from the local community against architecture in sustainable tourism at Simanindo
Distributed aspect-oriented service composition for business compliance governance with public service processes
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) offers a technical foundation for Enterprise Application Integration and
business collaboration through service-based business components. With increasing process outsourcing and cloud computing, enterprises need process-level integration and collaboration (process-oriented) to quickly launch new business processes for new customers and products. However, business processes that cross organisationsā compliance regulation boundaries are still unaddressed. We introduce a distributed aspect-oriented service composition approach, which enables multiple process clients hot-plugging their business compliance models (business rules, fault handling policy, and execution monitor) to BPEL business processes
Whole-Chain Recommendations
With the recent prevalence of Reinforcement Learning (RL), there have been
tremendous interests in developing RL-based recommender systems. In practical
recommendation sessions, users will sequentially access multiple scenarios,
such as the entrance pages and the item detail pages, and each scenario has its
specific characteristics. However, the majority of existing RL-based
recommender systems focus on optimizing one strategy for all scenarios or
separately optimizing each strategy, which could lead to sub-optimal overall
performance. In this paper, we study the recommendation problem with multiple
(consecutive) scenarios, i.e., whole-chain recommendations. We propose a
multi-agent RL-based approach (DeepChain), which can capture the sequential
correlation among different scenarios and jointly optimize multiple
recommendation strategies. To be specific, all recommender agents (RAs) share
the same memory of users' historical behaviors, and they work collaboratively
to maximize the overall reward of a session. Note that optimizing multiple
recommendation strategies jointly faces two challenges in the existing
model-free RL model - (i) it requires huge amounts of user behavior data, and
(ii) the distribution of reward (users' feedback) are extremely unbalanced. In
this paper, we introduce model-based RL techniques to reduce the training data
requirement and execute more accurate strategy updates. The experimental
results based on a real e-commerce platform demonstrate the effectiveness of

System Architecture Dynamics The case of Japanese Car Navigation Systems
This paper attempts to clarify how the integration of software and hardware is related to product systems and product development organization in the growing electronic equipment market in the IT age. As a framework for analyzing the effect of integration, we will examine the influence of software on product functions, product development organization and product innovation by introducing the concept of system architecture, which represents the nature of a system, and is defined as a combination of hardware and software. As a particular case, Japanese car navigation market is analyzed. Regarding system architecture, we discuss how both software and hardware have open architecture dynamics, how those dynamics have several trajectories, and have a major impact not only on cooperation between product development structure and external organization, but also on innovation.
