TSEP: Threshold-sensitive Stable Election Protocol for WSNs
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are expected to find wide applicability and
increasing deployment in near future. In this paper, we propose a new protocol,
Threshold Sensitive Stable Election Protocol (TSEP), which is reactive protocol
using three levels of heterogeneity. Reactive networks, as opposed to proactive
networks, respond immediately to changes in relevant parameters of interest. We
evaluate performance of our protocol for a simple temperature sensing
application and compare results of protocol with some other protocols LEACH,
DEEC, SEP, ESEP and TEEN. And from simulation results it is observed that

MODLEACH: A Variant of LEACH for WSNs
Wireless sensor networks are appearing as an emerging need for mankind.
Though, Such networks are still in research phase however, they have high
potential to be applied in almost every field of life. Lots of research is done
and a lot more is awaiting to be standardized. In this work, cluster based
routing in wireless sensor networks is studied precisely. Further, we modify
one of the most prominent wireless sensor network's routing protocol "LEACH" as
modified LEACH (MODLEACH) by introducing \emph{efficient cluster head
replacement scheme} and \emph{dual transmitting power levels}. Our modified
LEACH, in comparison with LEACH out performs it using metrics of cluster head
formation, through put and network life. Afterwards, hard and soft thresholds
are implemented on modified LEACH (MODLEACH) that boast the performance even
more. Finally a brief performance analysis of LEACH, Modified LEACH (MODLEACH),
MODLEACH with hard threshold (MODLEACHHT) and MODLEACH with soft threshold
(MODLEACHST) is undertaken considering metrics of throughput, network life and

EMEEDP: Enhanced Multi-hop Energy Efficient Distributed Protocol for Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Network
In WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) every sensor node sensed the data and
transmit it to the CH (Cluster head) or BS (Base Station). Sensors are randomly
deployed in unreachable areas, where battery replacement or battery charge is
not possible. For this reason, Energy conservation is the important design goal
while developing a routing and distributed protocol to increase the lifetime of
WSN. In this paper, an enhanced energy efficient distributed protocol for
heterogeneous WSN have been reported. EMEEDP is proposed for heterogeneous WSN
to increase the lifetime of the network. An efficient algorithm is proposed in
the form of flowchart and based on various clustering equation proved that the
proposed work accomplishes longer lifetime with improved QOS parameters
parallel to MEEP. A WSN implemented and tested using Raspberry Pi devices as a
base station, temperature sensors as a node and xively.com as a cloud. Users
use data for decision purpose or business purposes from xively.com using

Hierarchical Routing Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks: A Survey and its Comparison
In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), profound research articles are presented to address the hierarchical routing protocols which reduce the energy consumption of sensor nodes and also prolong the life of the network. The state of art of this research article focus on the survey of different hierarchical routing protocols which is utilized to efficiently deliver the sensed data from source to sink node. This article presents a detailed survey on major clustering techniques LEACH, SEP, PEGASIS, and TEEN. Also, this article strongly examines about the advantages and limitations of each hierarchical routing protocol with its recent research issues. Finally, the paper concludes with some of the research issues in hierarchical routing protocols of wireless sensor networks
An energy-efficient clustering protocol using fuzzy logic and network segmentation for heterogeneous WSN
Wireless sensor networks have become an emerging research area due to their importance in the present industrial application. The enlargement of network lifetime is the major limitation in WSN. Several routing protocols study the extension of lifespan in WSN. Routing protocols significantly influence on the global of energy consumption for sensors in WSN. It is essential to correct the energy efficiency performance of routing protocol in order to improve the lifetime. The protocols based on clustering are the most routing protocols in WSN to reduce energy consumption. The protocols dedicate to WSN have demonstrated their limitation in expanding the lifetime of the network. In this paper, we present Hybrid SEP protocol : Multi-zonal Fuzzy logic heterogeneous Clustering based on Stable Election Protocol (FMZ-SEP). The FMZ-SEP characterizes by four parameters: WSN segmentation (splitting the WSN into the triangle zones ), the Subtractive Clustering Method to determine a correct number of clusters, the FCM and the SEP protocol. The FMZ-SEP prolong the stability period and extend the lifetime. The simulation results point out that the stability period of FMZ-SEP. FMZ-SEP protocol outperforms of MZ-SEP, FSEP and SEP protocol by improving the network lifetime and the stability period
Performance Analysis of Multiple Access Techniques for LTE system under Symbol Error Rate (SER) Calculation
In the recent years, so many technologies in multiple access trends have influenced the field of Wireless Sensor Networks in significant ways. Various trends are readily available technology of ubiquitous wireless sensor networks as well as wireless communication networks and progress in the development of two multiple access techniques are compared in this scenario: the OFDMA and SC-FDMA. The OFDMA and SC-FDMA transceivers are modeled and simulated considering both the interleaved and localized subcarriers mapping schemes. WSNs have the potentiality to connect the physical world with the virtual world by forming a network of sensor nodes. To prolong the networklsquo;s hop in terms of single and two hop using both techniques should be used in the sensor nodes. The minimization of computing and storage platforms as well as the development of novel micro sensors and sensor materials with high reliability force encourages technology in research on WSN.
