    A review on structured scheme representation on data security application

    With the rapid development in the era of Internet and networking technology, there is always a requirement to improve the security systems, which secure the transmitted data over an unsecured channel. The needs to increase the level of security in transferring the data always become the critical issue. Therefore, data security is a significant area in covering the issue of security, which refers to protect the data from unwanted forces and prevent unauthorized access to a communication. This paper presents a review of structured-scheme representation for data security application. There are five structured-scheme types, which can be represented as dual-scheme, triple-scheme, quad-scheme, octal-scheme and hexa-scheme.     High Security and Capacity of Image Steganography for Hiding Human Speech Based on Spatial and Cepstral Domains

    A new technique of hiding a speech signal clip inside a digital color image is proposed in this paper to improve steganography security and loading capacity. The suggested technique of image steganography is achieved using both spatial and cepstral domains, where the Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs) are adopted, as very efficient features of the speech signal. The presented technique in this paper contributes to improving the image steganography features through two approaches. First is to support the hiding capacity by the usage of the extracted MFCCs features and pitches extracted from the speech signal and embed them inside the cover color image rather than directly hiding the whole samples of the digitized speech signal. Second is to improve the data security by hiding the secret data (MFCCs features) anywhere in the host image rather than directly using the least significant bits substitution of the cover image. At the recovering side, the proposed approach recovers these hidden features and using them to reconstruct the speech waveform again by inverting the steps of MFCCs extraction to recover an approximated vocal tract response and combine it with recovered pitch based excitation signal. The results show a peak signal to noise ratio of 52.4 dB of the stego-image, which reflect a very good quality and a reduction ratio of embedded data to about (6%–25%). In addition, the results show a speech reconstruction degree of about 94.24% correlation with the original speech signal

    Randomized Symmetric Crypto Spatial Fusion Steganographic System

    The image fusion steganographic system embeds encrypted messages in decomposed multimedia carriers using a pseudorandom generator but it fails to evaluate the contents of the cover image. This results in the secret data being embedded in smooth regions, which leads to visible distortion that affects the imperceptibility and confidentiality. To solve this issue, as well as to improve the quality and robustness of the system, the Randomized Symmetric Crypto Spatial Fusion Steganography System is proposed in this study. It comprises three-subsystem bitwise encryption, spatial fusion, and bitwise embedding. First, bitwise encryption encrypts the message using bitwise operation to improve the confidentiality. Then, spatial fusion decomposes and evaluates the region of embedding on the basis of sharp intensity and capacity. This restricts the visibility of distortion and provides a high embedding capacity. Finally, the bitwise embedding system embeds the encrypted message through differencing the pixels in the region by 1, checking even or odd options and not equal to zero constraints. This reduces the modification rate to avoid distortion. The proposed heuristic algorithm is implemented in the blue channel, to which the human visual system is less sensitive. It was tested using standard IST natural images with steganalysis algorithms and resulted in better quality, imperceptibility, embedding capacity and invulnerability to various attacks compared to other steganographic systems

    A Unique Way to Generate Password at Random Basis and Sending it Using a New Steganography Technique

    Data hiding is a technique for secure transmission of confidential data. Many data hiding techniques exist and steganography is the most important one. This paper presents a new steganography method in spatial domain. We use steganography to send confidential information from sender to receiver. Here, we generate password at random basis in a unique way based on system time and date. Then we send this confidential password using steganography by implementing a totally new embedding and extraction technique based on exact length of bits in binary representation of ASCII values. Here, confidential text information is embedded into cover image generating a stego image and sent to receiver maintaining top level secrecy

    New Design of Encryption with Covertext and Reordering

    Documents for some entities are confidential and important, so security is required. Encryption with Covertext and Reordering (ECR) is a text-based document security model. ECR uses a random key to generate the ciphertext. The ECR’s random key is selected using the human-generated method. This research aims to increase the level of document security based on the ECR mechanism. This paper proposes a new method by using a random key in a permutated table. The random key is generated automatically by a function. The entropy is used as a measurement of the security level of the encrypted documents. The experimental shows that the permutated table inside the ECR provides better entropy values. It implies a better security level. The use of permutated tables also makes it easier to use ECR to secure documents
