The Judaic Studies Program is reaching out to community organizations with a shared interest in promoting this dialogue including Bangorns All Souls Congregational Church, Congegation Beth lsrael and Congregation Beth El and The Wilson Center in Orono, among others. The Honors College at UMaine is also supporting this event and Rabbi Rudin is scheduled to have a breakfast meeting with students and faculty at the Honors College on Friday, October 24th

    This week, we recognize the work of Hannah Labovitz ’21. Hannah is currently pursuing a history major, a Spanish and Public History double minor, and a teaching certification. She is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has been very involved in the Jewish community here at Gettysburg. She is the secretary and communications chair of Hillel, works as an assistant to Stephen Stern in the Judaic Studies Department, serves on the Judaic Studies committee, acts as co-President of Democracy Matters.
