Literacia Digital e Literacia da Informação - competências de uma era digital

Abstract

Ser-se digitally literate é fator-chave para se alcançar sucesso. Ser um cidadão com competências ao nível da literacia digital é fundamental. Hoje em dia vivemos na rede e em rede. No entanto, o facto de tudo poder ser partilhado online acarreta alguns riscos - tanto para utilizadores como para autores. Situações de usurpação e de plagio podem ser mais frequentes. Assim, ter a capacidade e o discernimento de conseguir pesquisar e selecionar a informação mais credível é um requisito e uma competência essencial numa sociedade em rede. Neste artigo serão abordados os conceitos de literacia digital e de literacia da informação enquanto competências-chave numa sociedade em rede. - Being digitally literate is a key factor to achieve success. Being a citizen with skills in digital literacy is essential. Nowadays we are online like 24/7. However, the fact that everything can be shared online carries some risk - both for users and for authors. Cases of theft and plagiarism may be more frequent. Therefore, having the ability and insight to achieve search and select the most credible information is a requirement and an essential skill in a networked society.
