El Avance de las Herramientas Digitales en la Educación Patrimonial

Abstract

This article aimed to conduct a bibliographic review of the progress of new technologies related to heritage education, showing some examples of the experiences around it, reviewing its development and considering the advantages and limitations of its application; likewise, the digital gaps that hinder its expansion were considered. In this study, the descriptive documentary research method was used, making use of a narrative review, which includes documents that show the concepts of heritage and heritage education, pointing out their advances and new trends, also describing the characteristics of the new technologies used in the field of heritage education. The study concluded that the use of new technologies facilitates the dissemination of cultural and natural heritage, in addition to enabling a better development of meaningful learning, achieving reflective and critical skills in students, thus fostering creativity and interest in their past. En este artículo se trazó como objetivo una revisión bibliográfica del avance de las nuevas tecnologías relacionadas con la educación patrimonial, mostrando algunos ejemplos de las experiencias en torno a ello, revisando su desarrollo y considerando las ventajas y limitaciones de su aplicación; así mismo, se consideraron las brechas digitales que frenan de cierto modo su expansión. En este estudio se utilizó el método de investigación documental de tipo descriptivo haciendo uso de una revisión narrativa, que incluye documentos que muestran los conceptos de patrimonio y educación patrimonial, señalando sus avances y nuevas tendencias, asimismo, describiendo las características de las nuevas tecnologías utilizadas en el campo de la educación patrimonial. El estudio concluyó que el uso de las nuevas tecnologías facilita la difusión del patrimonio cultural y natural, además que posibilita un mejor desarrollo del aprendizaje significativo, logrando en los estudiantes competencias reflexivas y críticas, fomentando así la creatividad y el interés por su pasado.&nbsp
