Abstract

ChatGPT, Copilot, DALL·E, and other similar tools have rapidly revolutionized the way humanity has learned about and interacted with artificial intelligence (AI). These tools are examples of generative AI, based primarily on what are known as LLMs (Large Language Models). However, the development of AI began long before the emergence of these applications, and the types and uses of AI go far beyond answering questions or generating images through chat applications or creative platforms, where users and AI interact using natural language (1).Las herramientas ChatGPT, Copilot, DALL·E y otras similares han revolucionado, en corto plazo, la forma en que la humanidad ha conocido e interactuado con la inteligencia artificial (IA). Estas herramientas son ejemplos de IA generativa, basadas principalmente en lo que se conoce como LLMs (Large Language Models). Sin embargo, el desarrollo de la IA comenzó mucho antes de la aparición de estas aplicaciones, y los tipos y usos de la IA van mucho más allá que contestar preguntas o generar imágenes por medio de aplicaciones de chat o plataformas creativas, donde interactúan usuario e IA usando lenguaje natural (1)
