The Relationship Between Psychological Capital and Organizational Commitment in Senior Management of the Indonesian Psychology Student Association 2024-2025: Hubungan Antara Psychological Capital dengan Komitmen Organisasi pada Pengurus Senior Ikatan Lembaga Mahasiswa Psikologi Indonesia 2024-2025

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological capital and organizational commitment in ILMPI Region 1-7 senior administrators for the 2024-2025 period. The method used is quantitative correlation with data collection techniques through online questionnaires. The sample consisted of 49 senior administrators selected using purposive sampling technique. The measuring instruments used are the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ) and the Organizational Commitment Scale which have been standardized. Data analysis was carried out using Pearson Product Moment correlation with the help of Jamovi software. The results showed a significant positive relationship between psychological capital and organizational commitment (r = 0.431; p = 0.002). This finding shows that the higher the board's psychological capital, the higher their commitment to the organization. This research is expected to be the basis for developing programs to increase psychological capital to strengthen organizational commitment in the student environment
