Adolescence and sufficient maturity: Judicial repercussions as from the neurosciences

Abstract

Adolescence is a meta judicial concept of rich neuroscientific viewpoints. It is an indication of a restraint that the legislator should have in mind when regulating these issues. It is a significant period for the brain. The expression “sufficient maturity” is actually a process of biopsychosocial maturity. This stage of change is the one that demands a fruitful dialogue between all the conflict valid interlocutors and a brain that is molding or reorganizing in a particular setting.Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociale
