Tehnike medijske manipulacije i persuazije na primjeru COVID-19 pandemije

Abstract

Tehnike manipulacije i persuazije danas imaju vrlo široku primjenu. Naime, suvremeni mediji omogućuju, a često i podržavaju širenje takvih poruka. Manipulation and persuasion techniques are widely used today. They can be used to convince people of certain ideologies, to convey certain attitudes to them, to change their opinion, etc. Techniques of manipulation and persuasion can be used by different actors, whether they work and act in political purposes or in someone else's interests. In the modern world, that is, in the context of modern technologies, it is particularly easy to convey messages of manipulation and persuasion to the target audience. Namely, modern media enable and often support the spread of such messages. With the advent of COVID-19, a new area for manipulation and persuasion has opened up. This area has encompassed the global public. Thus, in the context of the disease, efforts were made to convince the public about treatment, attitude towards prevention measures, attitude towards vaccination, etc. Manipulative messages were often supported by political leaders
