Promotion of Environmental Education in a collaborative network in the municipality of Poço Fundo (MG, Brazil)

Abstract

Objetivou-se avaliar a eficácia do trabalho em rede entre o Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (CRAS), as escolas e a comunidade na promoção da Educação Ambiental (EA) de forma transversal. A pesquisa adotou uma abordagem qualitativa, dividida em duas etapas complementares: a primeira consistiu em uma revisão bibliográfica e documental sobre a história da EA no Brasil e seus marcos legais no contexto escolar. A segunda foi um estudo de caso, por meio de entrevistas, com professores, gestores escolares, profissionais do CRAS e membros da comunidade. Conclui-se que existem desafios significativos no que tange a EA, sendo a colaboração em rede uma estratégia eficaz para a conscientização dos alunos e da comunidade.The objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of networking between the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS), schools, and the community in promoting Environmental Education (EE) in a transversal way. The research adopted a qualitative approach, divided into two complementary stages: the first consisted of a bibliographic and documentary review of the history of EE in Brazil and its legal frameworks in the school context. The second was a case study through interviews with teachers, school managers, CRAS professionals, and community members. It is concluded that there are significant challenges regarding EA, with network collaboration being an effective strategy for raising awareness among students and the community
