The solution of partial problems of transport logistics in a particular enterprise

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku řízení pohybu zásob pomocí různě lokalizovaných skladů využitím různých přepravních způsobů a variant. K analýze časové proveditelnosti dílčích skladových a přepravních úkonů byla použita metoda PERT. První část práce poskytuje teoretická východiska pro řešení daného problému. Jsou nastíněny oblasti týkající se řízení zásob, skladů, dopravy či logistických nákladů. Druhá část práce se věnuje seznámení se s daným podnikem, identifikaci současného způsobu řízení zásob a v neposlední řadě uvádí alternativní řešení současné situace mající za cíl snížení přepravních nákladů. Výstup této práce může posloužit manažerům dané společnosti jako podklad po další změny v jejich podnikové logistice. Dosažený výstup však musí být zasazen do kontextu a do aktuálních podmínek.Katedra financí a účetnictvíObhájenoThis thesis is focused on the inventory management in terms of the transportation flow among different warehouses which are located not only in Czech republic but also abroad. PERT method is used in order to carry out the feasibility study concerning the time frame of all warehouse and transport operations. The first part of this thesis provides the theoretical information useful for further development. It concerns the inventory management, warehousing, transport and also logistic costs. The second part of the thesis starts with the company profile. Subsequently, the current status quo of the inventory management is described. The core of this thesis lies in proposing alternative solutions to the current status quo, which are also outlined. The main goal is to find the best option which will result in reducing the transportation costs. The outcome of this thesis can help company's managers to carry out some changes in their logistics operations. However, this outcome must be put in context with the real conditions, which are changing quite rapidly
