Export Competitivness in Latvian Manufacturing Branch

Abstract

This paper analyses variety indicators of companies’ competitiveness in the Latvian economy and researches optimal rate using different methodologies. Paper discusses about required enhanced productivity and resource reallocation to more dynamic sectors. This paper analyses exporting firms` labour productivity. We analyse empirical studies about difference from export and non-export companies in term of productivity. In this paper, applied quantile regression methodology.
