Abstract

У статті наголошується, що сучасна початкова школа не повинна залишатися осторонь від процесу модернізації освіти. Початкової ланки освіти стосуються всі світові тенденції та інновації, до яких належить і компетентнісний підхід до навчання читанню на уроках англійської мови. (In this article the question of primary school not staying away from the process of education modernization is examined. All the world tendencies and innovations, that actually include the competence approach in teaching English at primary schools, have something to do with the primary stage of education.
