Indonesia is an archipelagic country located in a tropical climate with abundant diversity of flora, fauna, and microorganisms. This diversity makes Indonesia a natural laboratory for plants, with great potential in the field of agriculture. However, with the continuous growth of population, agricultural land is diminishing, presenting a significant challenge in achieving food security for the nation. Therefore, it is important to strive for food sources with methods and efforts that can maintain the sustainability of natural resources in the future. In facing these challenges, Universitas Tanjungpura in West Kalimantan can play a role as one of the supporting institutions in maintaining future sustainability. One of its efforts is through the conservation of species and ecosystems by providing facilities such as the Conservatory Center. The design process of the Conservatory Center involves several stages, including collecting primary and secondary data through literature studies, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and reevaluation. The Conservatory Center serves three main functions: conservation and education, management and services, and support. Through its design, the Conservatory Center at Universitas Tanjungpura creates an environment similar to the natural habitat of the plants within it. With three radial masses, the building optimizes lighting for its facilities, including conservation areas, laboratories, management areas, services, and a food court

The agricultural sector plays an important role in economic activities in Indonesia. Kubu Raya Regency is an agricultural center area with quite large production output, a rice field area of 79,000 ha, and 1,850 farmer groups with a total of 167 farmer group organizations. Kubu Raya Regency already has a Rice Agriculture Training Center, but the facilities and space are inadequate, so development needs to be carried out to meet the needs and comfort of its users. The rice farming training center is a place to learn, practice, and practice in the field of rice farming. The aim of this study is to design a rice agriculture training center by adjusting the facility standards and user comfort of the building used for training, management, and visitor activities. The design method used in this design is the five-step design process method in the book "Introduction to Architecture" proposed by Snyder and Catanese (1984). The design stage begins with the initiation, preparation, proposal-making, evaluation, and action stages. The design concept that will be used adjusts the function and balances the surrounding natural environment. Then supporting facilities were added to increase public interest in coming and increase their knowledge about rice farming. The result is a design for a Rice Agriculture Training Center building with facilities capable of accommodating training activities for farmers, as well as activities for preserving and processing rice agricultural products

Community settlements on Kabung Island are formed by the environment, culture and characteristics of the population, the majority of whom are Bugis immigrants from outside West Kalimantan. Community settlements are located on the coast of the island and are oriented towards the sea as a place of life. This research aims to determine the characteristics of community settlement patterns by looking at the elements of settlement on Kabung Island. This research uses a survey method through observation and interviews. The composition of the settlement patterns of the Kabung Island community forms an elongated linear pattern following the coastline with settlements located on the sloping coastline and plantations located in the hills. The formation of this arrangement was caused by the activities of the community, most of whom worked at sea and was influenced by the topographic conditions of the island so that the community built on sloping plains. The spatial structure of Kabung Island is divided into highlands, lowlands or slopes, shallow seas and deep seas. The majority of people living on Kabung Island aim to earn a living, so that all areas on Kabung Island are utilized optimally to support community livelihood activities. The community culture that is still maintained today is the decorative variety that is the attraction of Kabung Island, namely the tradition of designing and moving houses

Indonesia is home to six of the world's seven species of sea turtles. Since 1981 internationally sea turtles have been included in the red list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature Resources (IUCN) and Appendix I of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). In 1990, turtles were protected by Law Number 5 of 1990 concerning the Conservation of Biological Natural Resources and their Ecosystems. Its existence is protected because sea turtles act as a balancer of marine ecosystems. Sea turtles are endangered due to high exploitation, damaged habitats and the threat of predators. One of the turtle nesting and conservation areas in Indonesia is in Paloh Beach, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan Province starting from 2009-present. Design of the Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Paloh Beach, Sambas Regency as infrastructure to support turtle monitoring activities, research and education centers, information centersand tourism. The design location is at Tanjung Api Beach, Sebubus Village, Paloh District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. The design theme is adjusted to the principle of conservation, namely "2P" (Protection and Preservation) meaning protection of life support systems (Protection), and preservation of the use of biological natural resources and their ecosystems (Preservation). This design uses field research methods (field reserch) which includes observation, documentation and interview techniques. The design results contain several masses which include management buildings, infor masi centers, inns, monitoring posts, research buildings, turtle shelter buildings, semi-natural nests and others. The buildings above are grouped based on conservation, research, education and tourism functions. With the existence of the Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Paloh Beach, it is hoped that it can be a place for conservation and maintain the sustainability of turtle habitat

The mosque is the center of life and activities of Muslims, both for carrying out ukhrawi worship and worldly worship. Along with the times, mosques have become one of the choices in the realm of tourism, namely religious tourism. Religious tourism is a tourism sector that continues to grow in Indonesia, where the majority of the population is Muslim and has a culture of religiosity and culture. The development of mosques in Indonesia and the world shows an increase. Apart from being a place of worship for Muslims, mosques have various functions, both to carry out ukhrawi worship and worldly worship. Sungai Kakap Village is one of the villages that has the potential in the form of an estuary which is one of the national shipping lanes that is still in the development stage (Perda Kubu Raya Number 7 of 2016). The high tolerance between tribes, races, and religions in this region makes acculturation between cultures occur naturally, despite the diverse composition of the population of races and religions. This area is a strategic area in economic and tourism aspects. One of the tourism sectors that has the potential to be developed is religious tourism. The number of availability of worship facilities when compared with the number of adherents of Islam in statistical data, it can be concluded that the distribution of worship facilities in the form of mosques in this area has not been evenly distributed. Therefore, the object of design is "Design of the Floating Mosque Area in Sungai Kakap Village" as a fulfillment of mosque facilities to facilitate worship activities and create tourist attractions that can become a magnet for the region. Contextual Architecture approaches and lighting strategies are used so as to produce a solemn perception in worship and create iconic buildings that can make the area a tourism magnet

Education is essential to every citizen's existence. It does not exclude those with impairments (differently abled). Article 5 of The Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 states, "Citizens with physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, and/or social disabilities shall have the right to special education." Special education is an education reserved entirely for pupils with disabilities (differently abled), including people who are blind, people who are deaf, people with quadriplegia, or people with psychiatric disabilities (mentally disabled). Certainly, every location contains individuals with disabilities. In order to fulfil the mandate of Article 5 of Law No. 20 of the Republic of Indonesia from 2003, people with disabilities deserve an education infrastructure that meets their needs. Due to this, special needs schools must be specifically constructed to provide teaching-learning activities that can aid in the development of the student's potential. The biophilic concept is one of a number of concepts that can be used to generate the aforementioned situation. Biophilic is an architectural idea that fosters a harmonious link between humans and nature. The objective of biophilic design is to create an environment that is conducive to the physical and mental growth of humans. Biophilic is employed because it may establish tranquility and calm through the building's connection to nature, and the application of this design is anticipated to improve the quality of education for students
